what are you saving for?

I am in the process of saving for future travel and entertainment.

A large portion of my salary goes into retirement savings, and I'm also putting money aside to cover the cost of a holiday should I decide to take one, specifically for a new car when the need arises, and just a general amount to cover any big expenses when they crop up.

I've saved for a lifetime, now I'm retired and am spending that money saved

I budget for my hobbies and keep an emergency fund. My retirement plan is handled by my employer, and I consider that separate from my savings.

I have been saving, to retire from teaching art at 62. So i can go full time as a visual artist painting mostly landscape's , still life's and the occasional figurative works.
