What age are you when it comes to playing game consoles?

Hi, I have a friend that bought a x-box and he is 51 years old. I told him I thought only kids played games and not grown men or women. He said alot of older people play games on x-box, PS-2, and others.

I used to play a lot of games, but recently I don't anymore. I didn't know which to choose: when I started to play them, or my current age. It kinda puzzled me..but to add here, I started when I was around six or seven..maybe eight? Dunno. It carried over. =)

I'm 35 and I've been gaming since my early teens when I got my first Atari 2600. I also remember spending hours typing in games in Basic into my old Atari 600XL computer. TRS80, Commodore 64, NES, etc, etc.

If that were true then M rated games like Grand Theft Auto wouldn't be such huge sellers. I think people who play games when their young continue to do so as they grow older.

Im 34 and enjoy gaming we have N64, PS1 and 2, Gamecube, NES, and a Gameboy, we are looking at adding an X-Box to the collection in the not too distant future. Im sure there is an old Atari kicking around also from when i was a lil munchkin. Hubby also enjoys gaming although totally different games than me and he is 42. My son loves his PS2 and he is only 6. I have been playing on and off sine the first Atari.

im 24 and have been playing games since nintendo first came out. i own an XBOX currently. just finished Knights of the Old Republic 2 Darkside. am completing it lightside right now.

I'm 26 and have been playing since Pac Man on the Atari. Though the NES, was the system that really got me hooked into gaming. I still play, though not for hours and hours on end like I used to. Having a job and other stuff I've got to squeeze in doesn't allow me to do that much anymore except for my days off. I'm currently working my way through Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It's amazing how far the Metroid series has come since the first game for the NES.

I recently purchased Gamecube so the whole family can have some great fun with all the different family titles available. My wife and I started out with Sega Genesis, then we bought Super Nintendo (which we still have), and now we have Gamecube.

Fifteen here; and I noticed no one picked the 10-15 range. I started when I was around six when my dad bought me a Sega Saturn (yes, eww and overpriced, but I didn't pick it), but where're all the early teen people? I swear, I've seen so many sixth through eighth grade gamers it's not even funny.

Hey I'm twelve and so are all my friends. We are major gamers. But to when I started gaming was around...3...No really I remeber whooping my mom and sister at pacman on our NES (Nintendo Entertament(sp?) System). Good Times...Good Times...Then the next system I got was N64.Oh man I was addicted. I was always playing Mario Kart 64 and Diddy Kong racing. As I got older I soon devoloped an intrest in the THPS series. Also I loved played Rayman 2: The Great Escape. Then when I was either nine or ten my mom got me a PS2 as a birthday present. I was just in amazement as I started playing ATV Offroad Fury. The graphics were so much better...And everything was so much more extreme. Then I bought alot of games, but the one I liked the most was Ratchet and Clank, then I bought Going Commando, then Up Your Arsenal. I now am currently playing Jak 2 which I got for christmas. After I beat it I'm gonna play Jak 3 which I bought with Christmas money. So I've been a gamer for about 9 years.
