Breakfast at the Joyfull Restaurant chain. Japan version of Dennys:

Comes with rice and miso soup. I ate this exact item a couple time on bike tour visit this year.

I can't think of a single chain restaurant I've ever visited that could pull that off.

But maybe bad for the people who choose "Baconator" 4 meals a week?
Do people typically eat breakfast at fast food places everyday ? I do it maybe a few times a year.

I've just assumed fast food success relies on a lot of high frequency customers. But I could be wrong.

I suspect it depends on different factors in one's lifestyle. One of those factors could be whether there is a fast food place convenient to where one is going. Like maybe on the way to the bus stop.

At least for me, preparing food is something one does to please others. So I would think another factor is if one lives alone it may well just easier to pick up something quick. When I have to make something just for me, it is often a fried Spam sandwich. There isn't much difference between that and fast food places.

I suspect that if one is living from payday to payday, it just isn't possible to lay in the stuff which one needs for cooking at home or it just isn't safe to store things like open containers of flour, sugar, etc.
