Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Translation: Professing themselves to be [sapiens], they became [atheists],

In other words, Paul is saying that embracing evolution can lead to atheism.

How many people do you know that have said, "I used to be a Christian, until I started asking question about where we came from"?

There are few atheists to be found who claim
to know there is no god. They, like me, just dont
believe things that are only known from wild stories
actually exist.
Its impossible to know there is no god,
so sure, its no biggie to say only a fool thinks he knows
what he cant know. Dont need a bible to tell me so.

On the other hand-
There are others who do believe in things despite zero
evidence, and, in things readily proven to be false, but yet call
themselves wise.

There are few atheists to be found who claim to know there is no god.

Claiming is done with the mouth, not the heart.

Notice the progression here.

A child is brought up in a Christian home and accepts Jesus Christ as his LORD and Saviour.

Later, he is exposed to cosmic evolution in general, and biological evolution specifically, and accepts it.

He then accepts the label HOMO SAPIENS (wise man).

NOW he professes -- with his mouth -- to be wise from birth -- (but still retains God in his thoughts).

He is now what you call a Theistic Evolutionist.

Later, if he chooses to delve into evolution more deeply, he runs the risk of denying God in his head; and now he is saying in his heart -- not just in his head -- there is no God.

He is now a hard atheist ... or "fool" ... as God calls them.

So he has gone from Creationist ... to Theistic Evolutionist ... to Atheist in three life-steps over a period of several years and much study of evolution by choice.

He is still saved, as once saved always saved, and will go to Heaven, but will suffer loss of rewards.

I'm pretty sure I know what it means in evolution parlance.

Technically, elephants have more folds on the brain than humans, but we are smarter than elephants by a good league. It's not just about the folds, it's how they're used.

And also, another way to read Homo Sapiens is 'knowledgeable man'. Because... many of us are not wise. Not at all. Not at all wise...

Anyone who claims that we are Homo sapiens.

It's this simple:

Anyone who claims they are wise runs the risk of ending up denying God in their heart.

Not all do, of course.
