Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought heat is the total amount of kinetic energy, and temperature is the average amount of kinetic energy. It's an example of penguins demonstrating physics.
I asked you what does the Bible state about the huddling behaviour of penguins which reflects basic physics.Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought heat is the total amount of kinetic energy, and temperature is the average amount of kinetic energy.
Or something like that?
I appologise for the misunderstanding. This is simply the 'Teach the controversy' BS campaign revisited.
I appologise for the misunderstanding.
I wasn't implying that ID and other Creationists have been prevented from presenting all their great evidence to the public school children.
I meant that the scientific evidence for creation hasn't presented to anyone ever... my personal opinion as to why is that it doesn't exist and its proponents don't really care about doing science, just using its trappings as a part of their marketing and propaganda.
Yup.I meant that the scientific evidence for creation hasn't presented to anyone ever... my personal opinion as to why is that it doesn't exist ...
Before the tares spring up and choke it?If there were a creofact anywhere they would be in a frantic hurry to get it out asap and everywhere.

Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone?
Not physics, just common sense![]()

I think it's in reply to this:That really has nothing to do with the thread.

And even still today.Being a cleric was almost a requirement for being a naturalist at that time!
I withdraw that comment then.
Some people on this site need to learn how the quote/reply function works.
Is there something offensive about posting a Bible quotation on a Christian forum?I withdraw that comment then.

The point was that your post seemed apropos of nothing. If you had used the quote function, you would have provided context for your quote of the Bible. Is there something offensive about posting a Bible quotation on a Christian forum?
Yes, no problem, there's no misunderstanding. They can't teach what they only pretend to have - but what they want to teach is not what they pretend to have.I appologise for the misunderstanding.

The irony of the master of off topic comments commenting about off topic posts......I think it's in reply to this:

Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
My 'interpretation' of Proverbs 25:2 is just as 'valid' as yours as both use an unlimited supply of poetic license.sjastro said:It has nothing to do with oil.
Proverbs 25:2 addresses the great question in thermodynamics for coffee drinkers who add cream.
If the phone rings as you are about to add the cream; should you add the cream before you answer the phone or wait after the call to ensure the coffee is at its highest temperature?
