we have a girl in our church that graduated with a degree in nursing, and I asked her how she was able to get around being taught about our "common ancestors" and "deep time" and whatnot, and she told me you just have to answer the questions with the information you've been taught.

It would be difficult to think of a more pointless and useless exercise than teaching a nurse (or a doctor or dentist) about how humans allegedly evolved from a prokaryote.
