Hi can you show me a chart that proves we have an accurate way of determining which day of the week is the 7th from creation? I do not think so.
God's people have always had God's laws *GENESIS 6:5 handed down from our first parents, although the written laws on stone and the Mosaic book of the covenant only came after God's people had lost there way and had become slaves in Egypt for 400 years at Mount Sinai (Exodus 20:1-17; Exodus 24:7).
Form this point forward God's people had no excuse for sin. When God spoke and wrote his commandments on the tables of stone, and when Moses wrote the Book of the covenant under God's instructions, God's people had been reset on the right path under the OLD COVENANT which points to the NEW.
By the time Jesus arrived God's people had already been keeping God's 4th commandment for 4000 years and Jesus kept the Sabbath and continued to teach about it. (Matthew 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20;
Mark 3:1-5;
Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5;
John 7:22-23; 9:14;
Mark 1:21;
Mark 6:2;
Luke 4:16; 31;
Luke 14:1; 23:56; Mark 2:27-28; 10-12; 24:20;
John 2:6; Matthew 16:24),
The Apostles continued keeping it well after the death of Jesus * Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4. I think scripture makes a pretty good chart that God's 4th commandment is not lost don't you?
At any rate the Bible speaks of being born again manifesting a life overflowing with the fruit of the Spirit. I see many who have turned to Jesus and their lives are completely transformed and they go to church on what we know as Sunday. Seems God has given His Spirit to them anyways. Perhaps you should look at evangelization more in sharing the gospel with the lost and grow your churches through daily adding those who should be saved rather that trying to pull form other churches with you Sabbath legalism.
I believe God has his people in every Church that are living up to all the KNOWLEDGE that he has given them and are such are his people *JOHN 10:16. In times of ignorance when we do not know any better God winks at *ACT 17:30;
When we are babes in Christ we do not know everything that God requires of us right away we need time to grow and learn *2 PETER 1:4-8. As we grow in grace and the KNOWLEDGE of him who calls us in LOVE to LOVE another then God expects us to change our ways and follow him *2 PETER 3:18; Act 17:30-31. We are his disciples as long as we continue growing in his WORD giving up sin that he reveals to us *JOHN 8:31-36. It is not until we reject God's WORD when he gives us a KNOWLEDGE of the truth that we become "UNBELIEVERS" *HOSEA 4:6; MARK 7:9; LUKE 12:46. Sin is breaking ANY of God's Commandments *ROMANS 7:7; ROMANS 3:20; JAMES 2:9-11; 1 JOHN 3:4. Those who continue in sin will not enter it *HEBREWS 10:26-27.
God is a spirit and those who worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth *JOHN 4:24. God is calling all who have ears to hear and eyes to see to come out from following man made traditions to worship him in Spirit and in truth according to the Word of God *MATTHEW 15:3-9. Many are called but few are chosen because men loved darkness rather then light because their deeds were evil *MATTHEW 22:14; JOHN 3:19.
Hope this helps
