I was born with a rare heart condition called the 'Velo Cardio facial syndrome' The one thing that makes this weird is my family /relatives never had this kind of serious medical conditionbesides cancer. With this my heart can cause me to pass out many times with no warning. The doctors first told my parents I would not make it to twelve years old. I've been in the hospital alot (had my childhood taken away from me) and I can still be in the hospital alot. I've been close to death a few times and have had a couple major surgeries. I actually had another surgery this year for them to insert a heart monitor above my heart so they can always be watching me and looking closer at my heart.
I'm 28yrs old..I can die today,tomorrow, or not for another 50yrs. We dont know what the future holds but God is in control and He gives us the peace to go through our dark times. When the world and docs have told me no, God has told me yes and I prove my doctors wrong all the time. There always amazed and when they ask..I say its Jesus!
Having this illness has taught me alot about life..how precious and short it really is! Heaven will be so much better but we can still have fun here on earth while being a witness for Jesus! Ive been blessed with many great friends and God is sure using my life for his Glory in all that I do. My encouragement for you guys is dont worry about tomorrow, medical stuff is out of our control but trust God and he will give you the peace to walk through anything your facing. Enjoy life.
