Visions, Dreams, Parables, Parabolic Examples and Language, Nothing New under the Sun, etc, etc, etc...

Visions, Dreams, Parables, Parabolic and Metaphorical Examples and Language, Symbolisms, or Things that represent other Things, but are actually the same Things, etc, etc, etc...

Whatever you want to call these things, as they are all pretty much the same things, etc, a woman "this", or a man "that", or "this or that situation or circumstance" with "this or that person or certain (group of) people", etc, or "this or that person, place (or places), or things", etc, under "this or that situation or circumstance", etc, is "all pretty much the same thing", etc, and is "timeless or ageless in this or these creation(s)", or in "creations like these" always, which will always exist always, though they may start all over again, etc...

Anyway, when this kind of Language is used, or these kinds of things are talked about in this way, especially in the Bible or in Scripture, or with God, etc, they are talking about things that are "eternal" here basically...

And that these things always repeat, and have been alwaysbeing repeated for quite a while now, etc, so that none of them are "new" ever, etc, as there is basically not ever anything new here, under the/this creation/sun, etc...

Visions and dreams express this also, and it is only because we don't have all of the "keys" as to how all of this is, that we don't understand them, and are quite confused by them, most of the time, etc...

Are any of you following what I am trying to be saying here so far...?

There were certain people, certain humans in the Bible, who were said to have great insight into this or these things, etc, people like Daniel, and Joseph, from the OT, were said to have specifically, etc, and I'm sure there were others who probably did as well, etc... They had a lot of these "keys", etc...

How about wars, divisions, the rising and falling of people(s) and/or nations, oppression and revolts and revolutions, arguments and disagreements and dissentions, so on and forth, etc...?

Or what about pestilence(s)/disease/pandemics also maybe, etc...?

Or maybe environmental effects also, like national or global (or personal) famines, or floods, or fires maybe, etc...?

Is it really all just the "same old story" just repeating itself over and over again here maybe, and never really ever changing here ever at all maybe, etc...?

Changing faces, or putting on new masks in different or newer places maybe, but other than that, really forever unchanging here maybe...?

And are symbolisms, or parables, do they tell a story of that, or those, or these kinds of things maybe, etc...?

Great post, and right on point!

I had a dream in 1998, which ended with a woman with white hair, who said, “Mystery of mysteries. Give her the key to open these mysteries.” That "key" turned out to be an understanding of the "symbolic code" of the Bible, a revelation I received between 1998 and 2005, through which the spiritual truths and instruction encoded in the scriptures are opened up to us.

Yes, many things hold the same symbolic meaning. The earth symbolizes the heart (the anagram is no coincidence). The temple symbolizes the heart, as does Jerusalem. What a brilliant way to preserve the spiritual knowledge of the Bible!!!

“Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.” Matthew 23:26. Jesus is speaking to those of religion, but his teachings are for all of us! The cup and platter symbolize the mind and heart, the inside of which is the thoughts of the mind and the emotions of the heart. If there are made pure, our actions will be pure. This purification process is the salvation of the soul: the vital principle in man credited to the faculty of thought, emotion, and action.

Not really - sorry.
A dream is a dream. It might be from God; it might not be. God can speak through dreams, but a dream can also be our subconscious thoughts/beliefs coming to the surface. Even if a dream seems to be about God, the church or spiritual things, it doesn't mean it is from God.
A parable is not at all the same as a dream. It was explained to me as being "an earthly story with a heavenly meaning" - it is a story which teaches a spiritual truth. The events of the parable might be literally true - e.g. the farmer who lost a sheep. They could describe things that were likely to happen - people sometimes did get beaten up on the road to Jericho, for example. Or they could be shocking things that were very unlikely to happen - e.g. a Jewish father running to greet, and kiss, his wayward son who had wished that he was dead.

Anyone can read a parable. We interpret it in different ways and it may say different things to us at different times.
As Joseph said, only God has the ability to interpret dreams.

A parable is not a dream, but a dream, like a parable, can have symbolic meaning, such as Joseph's dream about the sun, moon, and stars, which has nothing to do with the literal sun, moon, and stars, but what the sun, moon, and stars, symbolize, their spiritual meaning), which explains their need to be "darkened." Then, there are the prophetic dreams, like the ones the baker and the butler told to Joseph in prison. No only do the baker and butler have important symbolic/spiritual meaning. The interpretation of their dreams revealed not only revealed what was about to take place in their life, but what was going to take place two thousand years down the road.
