Time is more relative to motion than dimension. Time may exist outside of this x,y,z universe who knows.

Time has to be real for aging to make any sense (or be a consequence) whatsoever .. but you specifically said: 'Time would be a 4th dimension not yet realized.'

Time can be choice and wording, humans choose or use what to call a day.

If people start living on Mars the time will change for them as far as what they use to keep calendars or other space time calculations. A mechanical clock from Earth on Mars would be off or changing it frequently.
