  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was wondering if anyone here enjoyed shooting motion as well as still photography. I recently purchased a nice Canon HD camcorder and have been playing around with it for nearly a month now. I'm quite pleased with the many features and image quality. It started when my aerobatic coach asked if I could shoot a promotional video for his airshow routine, to which I quickly said YES!

The first video is the promo I made for him. He flies a Bellanca Decathlon which is an aerobatic training aircraft. As you can see from the video, it is capable of doing every basic aerobatic maneuver. His routine features graceful maneuvers, smooth lines, and absolute precision. Also, be sure to click the link to the videos and then click on "View in HD" at the lower right corner of the videos.
Enjoy!

The next video I created to show just how much I love flying and how wonderful it is. Most of this video was taken in one evening, while many other portions were taken over this last month. The aerial shots were taken on a short hop from the airport in Arlingon, Washington up to where I work. Enjoy!
