I'm having a very stressed-out week. I'm to the point of feeling like the next person I get a call from, I'm gonna curse them out or something. Until a few days ago, I was doing fairly well. So I hope this rut doesn't last long. Talking to this many idiots is seriously making me question my humanity right now. And that's not a good place to be mentally.

Not so much a vent, just more an "aw that stinks..."
My folks for the last 3 years has been trying to sever land off their 100 acres and said they'd give hubby and I a couple (of acres),

Turns out a law that was supposedly overturned, is now being backed again by the province, and basically said we couldn't sever any more land.

There goes our little spot in the country...

I have wanted to vent this several times this whole year.

I have seen threads all year from people hurting and wanting to get different points of view about serious issues that affect their Christian life. Many of these threads had topics that get people very passionate on both sides. The topics were real topics that cause Christians a lot of concern and they affect their life.

However, a very few moderators seem to think they need to prevent adults from having a passionate discussion about important issue in the real life. There are only a few moderators that often close threads that people are getting different points of view that could help them. I guess those moderators think that a heated discussion is too dangerous to allow even though the issues are serious issues that Christians deal with.

I have been on this forum for six years and this year the forum seems to be dying a slow death. Can anyone post the posts and threads of previous years and compare them to this year. Maybe I am wrong but it seems that the threads and posts of this year are at an all time low.

Different Christian points of view are very valuable when you have serious troubles in marriage and life.

I notice that a lot of people from the previous years are no longer posting. I loved this forum but I have cut my time her by about 80%.

Why did so many members stop posting?

There's the rub, in my opinion. Different pov's ARE valuable, but if one doesn't hold to the MAJORITY opinion, prepare to get shouted down. It can get quite nasty. hence, the mods and admins did what they felt they had to do. Right or not, they did it. My opinion is that (in the past) some here didn't like their pet interpretations of scripture on roles of husbands/wives messed with and when it was, the gloves came off to the detriment of whomever wanted to have a logical conversation on these and other sensitive matters.

In addition, a few mods interfere with subjects such as touching yourself and wet dreams. I guess they think that Christians do not touch and have wet dreams.

Those two issues have been a sourse of trouble in some christian marriages on this form but thier thread/posts were cut off by one or two mods.

It appears that someone thinks that the censorship that has occured is the right move. I also think that the posts and interests on this forum have been reduced substantially becuase of this censorship.

Has anyone compared the number treads/post of previous years to 2012?
That will tell you a lot.

I am new to these forums, so I can't compare this year to the last. I do however feel overwhelmed with the amount of subjects this forum offers, and I think it would do better if there were less, many less.

Ah yes, the landscapers are back... mowing the grass that hasn't grown an inch since the LAST time they were here 5 days ago because it hasn't rained in a month and a half... and trimming the bushes that don't NEED to be trimmed... only because our 'strata council' wasted the money on the contract...
