as someone who is gay "and" a Christian, it actually makes Valentines Day easier, because I don't dwell on not having the other half as I am not allowed, one way or another.

It's okay. You're not allowed a partner if you're a straight Christian either, unless you have a successful career, at least $50,000 in the bank, and look like a generic stock image guy who doesn't stand out or look too different. The only exception are those guys who got saved late who have tattoos and stuff who already were married before they got saved and are praised for coming out of the dark, but you know darn well no church girl would ever go after them in a million years no matter how on fire they are for Jesus.

Normally Valentine's Day does not bother me... but having a falling out with a woman (we never dated) that I've been talking to for a few months happen around this holiday... I guess I might actually feel somewhat bummed out.

Just the way it goes, millions of others are single too.

My only non-family friend who I was starting to fall in love with got married today, so yeah... I know how that feels.
Never really helped thinking of all the other people who were single though, since none of them seem interested in me. At least, not since I installed my adblocker.
