Every now and then I enjoy pampering myself! I wish I was able to do it more! I love soothing sorts of things, and find hot soaks in the bath and essential oils quite soothing.

There's an old movie: "An Affair to Remember", there's a plot about them planning to meet at the top of the Empire State Building on Valentines Day.

The characters in Sleepless in Seattle watch it a bunch and reference it a ton of times, and then it sorta becomes a plot in the movie as a result. Good film, worth the watch.

I am reminded of middle school when the guys got their girlfriends carnations & a half hour of class time was spent on that. Except for me & a couple other guys. I wanted to cry.
I've never had GF on Valentine's Day (or ever). It's so sad watching couples celebrate it.
I don't understand why people think it's a dumb holiday.

I think today maybe I will go to the mall or a restaurant and get a nice meal, since I'm near a big city! Then I'm going to go grocery shopping and pick up some of my favorite comfort foods for tonight when I watch a movie or something before bed!!

I went and got some Japanese veggie stir fry with rice. Was so good!!!! Also bought some ice cream and snack foods, then found a white sweater on discount to go with my dress since I will be going to a wedding this next weekend!
