), it would be hard to go wrong. There are also some verses that can help us out with this. For instance, here's a good filter to run your words through before you speak them:
"Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, that it may give grace to those who hear" ~Eph 4:29
If your words can pass that test, I'd say you're good to go
Another thing to consider whenever you open your mouth to speak (or chose to write in a place like this one) is this, are you intending to glorify God with the words you use? If not, why not ..cf
