To focus on the U.S. (as the Empire) would basically split the prophecies concerning its CAPITAL into TWO cities and NOT ONE…. Washington, D.C. and New York….. New York fulfills much of the needs of the prophecies, but the seat of government decisions for the U.S. is in Washington, D.C….

I still believe you need to look at the WORLD as the babylonian empire and New York City as its capital. The fact that the U.N. is in New York City, that has a port and is the center of world trade and economics should be the most obvious clue that the U.N., with its ark of hope, is more a target for fulfillment that the U.S.... Or, at least the quartet, more so than the U.S., because it is soley and directly involved with the Israeli situation.

Jerusalem will be trampled by the quartet in the future, IMO, for 42 months.

The rapture may occur.

The vials will be poured out.

New York City will be destroyed by God's judgement.

I wonder whether we can foretell the sequence in which things will happen.

I get the feeling it would be one step at a time, not really knowing the literal

unfolding of events until certain issues suddenly come up with subsequent
