Guys, Assisi is really ill. She doesn't want details divulged at this time (I don't know them either). HelenofBritain has started a prayer thread for her in the OBOB congregation forum. When I find the link I'll post it below. But I thought you would want to pray for her too.
Thank you for this! I hadn't seen it on OBOB, but will add her to my prayers. :crossrc:

I'm not sure how much it costs - my insurance is supposed to pay for it. I just went part-time and and supposed to still be covered for the rest of the month, but who knows??? If we get a bill, I'll let you know.
you are so lucky.... my insurance won't cover anything that has to do with infertility.. nothing at all. Well... don't you usually get a statement from the insurance company showing what they paid for? We usually do. If you think of it I'd love to know.. so I know kinda what to save and what to expect.

Well - here we go again - starting out on cycle 25.

I have been sick the past few days. This was a 23 day cycle (7 day luteal phase)

Praying for you!! :prayer:

Well.. after having the spotting last Saturday and Sunday... I haven't had anything since.. I've had some light cramps. I've had some nausea.. but that could be in my head so I'm not going by that. But I have NO other symptoms whatsoever.

just a question for you all... when did you first start noticing symptoms? Was it after the BFP? What was the first symptom. did you have any before the BFP? I'm just curious.. I know everyone is different.

Thanks so much!!
Heather

Heather, praying for you too! I lost both mine to m/c, shortly after I got a BFP - but even before then, I didn't have any symptoms - but like you said, everyone is different. Good luck! :)

I'm trying to cut caffeine out now, hoping that maybe that will help. But it is going to be hard. LOL! Heather, how's work? I haven't talked to you in forever it seems like.
Also try cutting out soy products (phytoestrogens can lengthen a menstrual cycle and decrease hormone levels, as they mimic oestrogen) and aspartame (fake sugar), though the research on the latter is patchy and not widely accepted.

:)

No problem there, I eat as little soy as possible. ;) And I'm trying to just drink water.

Yeah I know... need to call sometime!!!!! Life is so busy lately. I cut out caffeine when we first started trying.. and we went somewhere and I had one can of pop and was like... oh this won't hurt at all... well i'm addicted again. I'm trying.. really really hard.. but i'm struggling more this time. It stinks! I was told by my dr.. though that one can or glass of coffee or pop a day won't hurt... so i'm not worrying about it too much.. cause i don't really ever drink more than one a day anyway.

I'm taking prenatals and Josh is taking a mens one a day. Outside of the caffeine we are really eating better too.

But anyway.. still no signs of AF... no symptoms at all.. I get an occasional period type of cramp. But nothing since my spotting nearly 10 days ago.

I am so nervous to test though... so scared it will just be negative again. I'm really unsure, trying to not get my hopes up.

Just wanted to say hi  I haven't been around for a while because I've been in hosp[ital because they thought I was having an ectopic pregnancy. The good news is that I'm not, and they did a scan and I saw the yolk sac and the embryo, who was quivering a little, meaning there is a heartbeat :D. Glad to be out of hospital. Good to see you all.

This month I have used the OV kit to determine when I am OV just incase I have been working it out wrong and that was the answer to not Conceiving. But the kit has said that the days I thought were right... How frustrating... I was really hoping it was down to bad timing.

:sigh:

I understand the frustration - but at least now you do know that you are ovulating - and that helps too. Thinking that you may be having anovulary cycles is hard too, it's annoying not knowing what's wrong with your body.

Praying that you are pregnant. I got similar symptoms to what you describe when I became pregnant except for the nausea. I spotted for a day about 8 days after when I think conception may have taken place. I also spotted around the time I would expect my period. The main symptom for me was the absence of my usual PMS moodiness - although my pregnancy moodiness beats it hands down now!

How scary!! I went through that too on my last one. They even scheduled me for surgery to remove it - which I knew needed to be done - but didn't want to go through with it at all. I ended up with a m/c so didn't have to go through it - but it was scary all the same. So, so glad everything is okay with you though!! How exciting to see a heartbeat!! Will be praying that the rest of your pregnancy is healthy and uneventful!

so glad everything is ok.. that is a big fear of mine. They thought I was having one a long time ago.. turned out I wasn't even pregnant.. but because of the pains I was having they thought it could be a possibility.

I did that too for awhile, with the OV kit, hoping the same thing - as crazy as it sounds, I almost hate that everything works like clockwork for me. I keep thinking it would be so much easier if we could just find something wrong so that we can fix it.

I have my appt with the specialist tomorrow. I'm so excited to finally be going to someone who knows what they are doing. I should have done this a long time ago. I did decided that when I do get pg, I will definitely be finding a different doctor in the area. My sis has my same doc - she was supposed to be induced this coming Monday - but she went in yesterday and he decided she needed to wait a week longer. The thing is - he has never done an exam on her. I don't know a lot about it, but shouldn't he at least have done some kind of exam before making that decision? All he's done is sonograms. She actually wasn't even due until Oct 8 so I can't figure out why they wanted to induce her so soon anyway... yeah, glad I'm switching doctors...

I gave up caffeine like Katakalupto, but I eventurally gave in to a small piece of dark chocolate every day or two. :yum: No need to totally deprive myself.

livin4christ9203, did you test. I know you were nevous and scared, but praying for you to have courage to test and the grace to accept the answer no matter what it is (but hoping it's +). :prayer:

MissyMolly, I used OPK's last month, and am supposed to use them for three months to prove to my doctor that I am ovulating (even though my charts show clear thermal shifts). It's so frustrating to know that I'm ovulating and timing BD, and other tests are all fine, but it's still not happening. :sigh:

jenrenee, I hope all goes well with the specialist. :prayer:

Maharg, I'm glad to hear that you are out of the hospital and things are going well with your pregnancy.

ON a sonogram they can see if the placenta is the 'right age' - if it is aging too fast, they sometimes induce. But it is weird that he didn't do an exam. What is his explanation?

btw Assisi was on briefly, she's had good news and bad news and is feeling better but still needs to have more tests; she's not ready to give details. She might need surgery and she might be sick for the rest of her life. Please keep praying! Thank you!

Keeping Assisi in my prayers!! Thanks for the update!

And thanks for the info - my sister started having contractions last night but the dr she called told her they weren't timed right yet for her to worry. When she called her regular doc, he said nothing to worry about yet unless her water breaks. He didn't give a reason as far as I know why he hasn't done an exam. This is her first and she's just relying on whatever her dr tells her so I don't think she even questioned it. I told her I thought she should have had an exam - especcially now with contractions, I'm just shocked that her dr didn't even ask her to come in this morning.
