Okay - af is expected today. I really don't think we were on the right days this month, but for some reason I'm still really hoping it could have happened. I haven't had any af symptoms yet. Of course - no pg symptoms either. How do you not get your hopes up?? Ugh - I hate knowing I'm probably not pg, but still hoping I am anyway.
Stealingheaven: you were expecting af tomorrow - praying she doesn't show!
Maharg: love your new maternity dress!! :)
Am praying that you're pregnant. My maternity dress was from an anonymous donor - so thank you to whoever that was. :)

Thank you!!

No sign of af yet - if she doesn't show, I'll probably test tomorrow morning. That's about as patient as I can be. :) Any chance that a headache, runny nose, and sneezing are pg symptoms?? lol! Just kidding - I'm just trying to get over a cold and it hasn't been much fun... ^_^

:prayer: for you! I don't want to get your hopes up more, but it is not usually like you wake up on day 28 when you're pregnant going, "wow, sore boobs, enlarged, pee-ing alot, water retention, morning sickness, slight cramping, loose joints, dizziness etc etc etc - I must be pregnant." The symptoms come on slowly, as the hormone levels rise. So there is still hope!

:prayer:

Thanks so much!! I'm hoping!! :) I really don't remember having any symptoms whatsoever the first two times I was pg (although I m/c them both). So I'm not really expecting to have any the next time, I guess. But it would make me feel better if I got sick all of a sudden! :D

Hello, I spent all day yesterday searching the net for baby pictures and reasons why my Husband and I may not be able to concieve. What makes it worse was that I was supposed to be working... I can't seem to take my mind of it! We have now been trying for 3 months. 7 months before that we desided to start trying in the July. We actually were thinking that we would concieve straight away... But, we are still waiting. And what is only 3 months seems like 6. Time goes soooo slowly!

We haven't spoken to anyone about this as we don't want anyone fussing or even telling us to just relax and it will just happen. Or even saying it has only been 3 months and it could take a further 9. I know all this already... I am just feeling frustrated a little and want to be around people that are going through a similar thing.

What has made it seem a little worse is a friend of mine getting pregnant on the day that they deside to have their 2nd child. She is so fertile! But I thank God that she is as her baby boy is the cutest!

I have never joined anything on the web before... so I am slightly nervous. But, here goes...

So, jenrenee - whatsup?!

Thanks for asking! But... af showed up last night - right on time. :sigh: I guess I was expecting it but it's still always hard. It does help that I have my appt in a week so hopefully we can finally get some real answers. I'm just sure that there has to be something wrong. I mean - it shouldn't take two years to have a baby. My sister is being induced in a week and 4 days... so I'm getting really anxious but also am starting to feel that jealousy again... I'm sure it will pass though once I get to hold my niece. :)

Hi MissyMolly!! Welcome to our group!
I can sympathize with you on the work thing. I can only get on-line here at work and when we started ttc I was constantly searching the i-net for things relating to that. I think you are being smart about keeping the fact that you are trying to yourselves for awhile, although it does help to talk about it. But I'm always getting the "just relax - that's why you're not pg yet, you're stressing too much about it." That is the worst thing to hear, I think. How can I possibly relax about it? :)
If you've been trying for 3 months, in the ttc world that isn't long (but I know it can seem like forever). But they say you should try for a year before thinking something may be wrong. I hope it doesn't take you that long! We've been trying for over two years now and have had two miscarraiges - but I remember after only a few months I was getting sooo frustrated. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck and will say a prayer for you that it doesn't take long!!

I remember when I was TTC after a loss and a close friend had a baby, I broke down in tears at the news, but when we actually saw them it was nothing but joyous, Hope your sister has a smooth delivery!

Thank you! I think we have made it worse on ourselves because we have been counting down the weeks from Jan to when we could start trying. So it seems even longer then it actually is. I kinda knew this would happen in a way as God has tried to teach me patience throughout my Christian walk and I still very much struggle with it. I have been so blessed by this site and how you all support eachother. I still get amazed at how people the other side of the world can be praying for you. :prayer: :prayer: :prayer: What a picture! Sorry, I must sound so uncool and geeky...

I have been taking the focus of praying for a baby lately and trying to concentrate on praying for my future unborn children. I am praying for their salvation now and that God will use them for his glory and his kingdom. I figured that He knows them already and whilst He is preparing me to be a Mother and them to be my children I could ass a small helping hand along the way.:p

Jenrenee, thank you for welcoming me and praying that it doesn't take too long. I will be praying for you. The more time goes by, the closer you will be to having a baby of your own.

Leisamd, thank you also for your welcome.

Thanks so much!! That's a lot of how it is for me - I broke down too, especcially when I found out not only her but my sil, best friend and dh's best friend were all pregnant. But now I am so excited about my sis' baby. I can't wait!

Thank you!! It is amazing, isn't it? To have so many people I have never met before pray for me. Whenever someone gets a BFP in here - we all celebrate with them. I'm so glad I found this site!
Thank you for your prayers as well! And you are right, I'm closer to having a baby today than I was say anytime in the past two years - that's a good way to look at it.

Welcome, MissyMolly! DH and I just started seriously trying a couple months ago after a year or not preventing at all. I agree that it can be frustrating.

Welcome back, Katakalupto. Hopefully, you return to TTC with a renewed spirit.

Lovesdolphins, as always, :prayer: for you (and everyone else).

As for me, I had my HSG today. It wasn't too bad, and the x-rays showed that everything is clear. So, hopefully, something positive will happen by the end of the year.
The worst part of the whole thing was when the doctor had to really push to get the catheter into my cervix. No matter what they tell you, it's not a "little cramp"! It actually hurt (I'd say 7:10 on the pain scale)! Luckily, the pain only lasted a few minutes, the procedure took only about 10 minutes, and I'm not cramping or spotting too much afterwards.
Anyone else had this procedure??? Anyone know of someone who conceived shortly after having it done?

Well.. after having the spotting last Saturday and Sunday... I haven't had anything since.. I've had some light cramps. I've had some nausea.. but that could be in my head so I'm not going by that. But I have NO other symptoms whatsoever.

just a question for you all... when did you first start noticing symptoms? Was it after the BFP? What was the first symptom. did you have any before the BFP? I'm just curious.. I know everyone is different.

Thanks so much!!
Heather

my dr. wants me to do that if I don't get pregnant this next cycle on my first cycle with clomid. But I don't know since insurance doesn't cover it.. how much does it cost??

Guys, Assisi is really ill. She doesn't want details divulged at this time (I don't know them either). HelenofBritain has started a prayer thread for her in the OBOB congregation forum. When I find the link I'll post it below. But I thought you would want to pray for her too.
