Although I don't post anymore, the Lord has given me permission to share something on your behalf. I hope it's a balm for your spirit and enlightening. The messages are edifying and encouraging. The couple had a 10 year courtship and address a lot of issues you don't typically hear in marital teachings. Most notably the differences in time and its correlation to your beloved. We wonder about delays and question ourselves and we're not always the culprit.
Waiting is hard but bear in mind what He said in Genesis.
Now the LORD God said, “It is not good (beneficial) for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper [one who balances him—a counterpart who is] suitable and complementary for him.”
Most people read the verse with their present self in mind. But that isn't what she's fashioned for. Whatever the Lord desires of us our spouses fit the end result. That's what she's helping you accomplish. Your calling is what the kingdom needs most from you at this time. It's why you're here. Your purpose tells you how to go about it. Whatever that is she's a necessary part of its fulfillment.
It's important to remember God finishes a thing and manifestation follows. On earth as it is in heaven. It's already done in the spirit realm and from His perspective it's settled. It may take time on this plane to bring it to fruition but the end result is completed. Don't allow despair to rob you of the truth.
A virtuous and excellent wife [worthy of honor] is the crown of her husband,
Your crown is your spiritual center. You would be blessed by meditating on that verse and unpacking the terms virtuous and excellent for your betterment. The benefits she imparts are predicated on those qualities and that's the one you want. The verbiage mirrors what you find in proverbs 31 for a reason. They're unpacking the principle.
When we're desirous of results we forget the nuances of time and alignment. We want a solution today and believe we're ready but the other may not be prepared to enter a covenant or there may be other factors that contribute to the delay from our perspective. But we're not behind. We're right on schedule.
There's nothing more glorious than a union He builds (psalm 127). Learning to trust Him that way doesn't happen overnight. God is countercultural. Expecting things to work the way they do in the world is a recipe for disappointment. God hasn't forgotten you or anyone else. It may seem that way when we see others do the things we want for ourselves. But rest assured someone's looking at you and thinking the same. Contentment is a process and you'll reach it sooner through prayer.
Pray for her everyday. The Power of a Praying Woman is a great place to start and based on scripture. Pray through the book then do another and so on. When the devil attacks you answer him in prayer and he'll stop pushing that button. He doesn't want you doing that and it's a wonderful weapon in our arsenal. That's how I stopped the attacks and he hasn't mentioned it in years.
If you want to post everyday try this instead.
I'll peek in case you have questions. Be encouraged and know you're loved.
