Lawyers allied with former President Donald Trump directed a data firm to copy information from local election systems in three battleground states, records obtained by The Washington Post show.
The data firm, SullivanStrickler, copied sensitive information from a Dominion voting system in Coffee County, Georgia, and were directed by Trump-connected attorneys to do the same in Michigan and Nevada, the Post reported on Monday.
The effort was revealed through records that were subpoenaed in a long-running lawsuit about election security in Georgia. The multi-state scheme underscores the lengths that allies of the then-President were willing to go to in their campaign to pursue debunked allegations of widespread voter fraud and overturn the results of the 2020 election.
While the data firm's examinations were allowed by courts in two counties, according to the Post, the efforts were not public and state authorities have open investigations into improper equipment breaches in Michigan and Georgia.

It is amazing how they put this garbage out and then the truth is revealed and they reveal themselves to be liars. Any information from the Washington Compose can be guaranteed to be pure fiction and the very opposite of truth.

This stuff is documented, and the screaming of Trump's co-conspirators that "They are lying! THEY ARE ALL LYING!!!!" isn't working.

The Post has the emails and other records that show what happened. Sorry about that.

When 2000 Mules came out one liberal response was cell phone tracking is not reliable.

Most people's response was "why should we listen to a convicted criminal who was caught cheating in elections?" D'Souza's argument seems to be that "everyone does it."

While cell phone tracking can be erroneous, the point is that gathering and selling that data is a threat to privacy.

It is accurate enough for the military, and law enforcement so in my opinion your above statement is erroneous.

Then why are you complaining? BTW, there are a number of ways that GPS on a phone can give you a wrong location or no location at all. Would you like to learn about that?

Such data is only an indicator; over time, a large number of data points are probably reliable, but you can't count on a single point being accurate.

Not complaining, just point out what should be obvious hypocrisy.

I'm just pointing out facts. You seem to want it both ways.

Phone Tracking Data Is Notoriously Unreliable. So Why Are We Still Using It in Court?

It works well enough to drop a drone missile in the lap of a terrorist!

Can be. Or it can shut down completely as in a metal building or in the canyons of a city downtown.

I notice in some of those situations, my fitness tracker just fails to work for location. It's not magic, and it has some limitations.

Most people's response was "why should we listen to a convicted criminal who was caught cheating in elections?"

Hmmm convicted of campaign finance violation so video evidence of drop boxes stuffed was faked, those that admitted to stuffing said ballot boxes for money were lying, statistical experts who's said the numbers were an impossibility were all lying. Oh yea that pesky totally unreliable phone data that was wrong thousands of times while tracking mules but works perfectly when killing terrorist.

No one should give a whoop about D'Souza's conviction while ignore the facts put forth in the film. Campaign finance is a dirty business on both side of the isle. If the truth was know Washington would be a ghost town if all campaign finance violations were brought to light.

Quote from your article seems far from conclusive proof of anything.

" To be clear, we don’t know if this will happen—not yet. It appears that the Danish phone data errors were caused by two distinct problems, one with the software used to extract phone records, and one with the underlying record logging itself. We don’t yet know if this same software was used by U.S. police. But what is clear is that a giant question mark is now hovering over every single case where CSLI was used domestically.

It may turn out that U.S. law enforcement don’t use the same faulty software as their Danish counterparts, but we don’t know if other software products are more reliable. Even more alarming, the record logging issues appear to be an innate part of how the phone network captures data, meaning that we may find similar errors no matter what software we use. "

It merely shows that D'Souza has no problem faking things to get his way.

those that admitted to stuffing said ballot boxes for money were lying, statistical experts who's said the numbers were an impossibility were all lying.

So the real statisticians say. And that's what the judge found. We get that there are people who will never stop looking for a way to justify the Big Lie. But at some point, they have to find a way to live with the reality. Even Trump's own people point out that he lost and there was no evidence of persuasive fraud. Indeed, Trump overwhelmingly won the dead person vote. Would you like me to show you that, again?

Oh yea that pesky totally unreliable phone data that was wrong thousands of times while tracking mules

Well, let's look at that...

The book 2000 Mules written by conservative author and filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza was supposed to hit book shelves on August 30 but has been recalled because of an unspecified "significant error."

The release of the book comes after the debut of D'Souza's film of the same name, which claims widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election. Like the film, the book alleges that the Democratic Party and "mules" carrying bags of votes swayed results in President Joe Biden's favor.

D'Souza wrote on Truth Social that early copies of his book had been "recalled."
Dinesh D'Souza "2000 Mules" book suddenly recalled over "significant error"

Imagine that. Maybe it's not as big as his last "significant error" that got him convicted of an election felony, but apparently, big enough that the publisher panicked and withdrew it.

More importantly, I notice the GPS on my phone and logging device often don't work in urban areas. Here's an assignment for you; find out how many of the "mules" he thinks he caught, were working rural areas. Might be an revelation, um?

And, no, "everyone does it" is not a defense.
I wasn't defending him, he was convicted. I am defending the reliability of the evidence he put forth in the film. That stands on its own even if he personally does not live up to your personal requirements for sainthood in those that do investigative work.

Give it up, your lack of confidence in the reliability does not negate the confidence of the CIA, the military and various law enforcement agencies.

Still, saying "everyone does it", is a faulty argument for anything.
Wow did you miss the point!

Not complaining, just point out what should be obvious hypocrisy.

Hypocrisy? Well, there is some...

A just-released poll by The Economist and YouGov finds seven in ten Americans (70%) say it’s important for presidents to follow the Presidential Records Act, including 90% of Biden voters and 68% of Trump voters.

But for Republicans, the bar is far higher for Hillary Clinton and her private email server – a far-less serious act.

More than nine out of ten Republicans say Clinton’s use of a personal email address – not a crime – was “serious,” but the majority of Republicans (52%) say Trump removing classified and even top-secret federal government documents from the White House for apparent post-presidency use – possibly if not likely a criminal act – was not.

The poll does reveal nearly eight in ten Americans (79%) say it was “more wrong,” than “more right” of Trump to remove the classified documents, including a strong majority of Republicans (61%).

Meanwhile, most Americans (57%) say they would approve of the Dept. of Justice opening a criminal investigation into Trump possibly violating the Presidential Records Act by removing the classified and even top-secret intelligence and national security documents. Only 29% of Republicans agree.

Poll Exposes GOP Hypocrisy on Trump Removing Classified Docs From White House vs. Hillary Clinton's Private Email
