If a chipmunk attacked Chicago city with a machine gun someone, somewhere, in good old USA would claim to have found that incident in the Bible somewhere!
Thank you @Ronald . Thanks for agreeing with me on the scripture. I think it is alright to have optimistic thought about what Mr. Trump did. But, be sure to recognize that the prophecies that are being fulfilled are not necessarily peaceful for the ME region and for that matter the world. I am excited to see things shaping up and the way being prepared for the second coming of Lord Jesus.I just think that people do not understand that this preparation will not be pretty, or painless.I'm not so sure Trump fulfill Ezek. 37:15, but I do know that this event is significant. Ezek. 37 & 38 have always been End Time chapters. Ezek. 37:25-28 is specifically speaking of Jesus' return as King literally and dwelling in Jerusalem: " I will dwell in the land ... forever ... the nations shall also know that I, the LORD sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forevermore."
This act of Trump happens to be during the Jubilee Year, 50 years after Israel recaptured Jerusalem and 70 years after the UN's decision for Israel to become a nation. This is one generation according to David in Psalm 90:10.
Moreover, this move has been avoided by previous presidents, since it will create friction concerning any possible peace with the Palestinians AND the Islamic world as well.
Islam wants Jerusalem to be their capital and Israel annihilated.
So, this will bring about the stumbling block mentioned in scripture, Jerusalem, that the world is about to trip over and many nations will attack Israel and you know the rest, they will be destroyed. "Handmaid for Jesus" presented the scriptures above!

I don't believe that anyone, here, is excited about the trials and sufferings of other humans, no matter what the cause. So you are excited about the prospect that all the worlds Jews are to be rounded up and sent to Israel so 2/3 of them can be horribly, violently extinguished in the coming end times war?
Do I have that correct?
Realize that there are 2.3+ billion Christand, about 1/3 if the world's population. There is also a remnant of Jews, 1/3 who will also be saved. So regardless of where they are, 2/3 won't make it anyways. Romans 11 confirms the veil will be lifted over their eyes and they will finally know who their Messiah is.So you are excited about the prospect that all the worlds Jews are to be rounded up and sent to Israel so 2/3 of them can be horribly, violently extinguished in the coming end times war?

amen!I don't believe that anyone, here, is excited about the trials and sufferings of other humans, no matter what the cause.
However, these events will take place, whether we like it or not. Not to mention that any strategy of action taken by anyone person or government, meant to delay or halt the plan that God has had in place for all time, will only end up being something that God knew would happen and play right into the events that are to happen by God's will.

No. the whole chapter refers to the remnant Israel who will be saved during the Great Tribulation period. There is a distinction here between the Gentiles, who have been saved (vs. 11) and the Israel who have not yet been saved. "But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles." Branches were broken off so that we could be grafted in. "And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again." "For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your won opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until thr fullness of the Gentiles has come in."Are you changing a word in Romans 11:26?
Many change the word "so", which is an adverb of manner, into the word "then", which is an adverb of timing in that verse. The manner of salvation is found in verses 23 and 24.
They also insist that modern Israelites will come to salvation when the times of the Gentiles is completed.
However, based on Luke 21:24-28, the times of the Gentiles ends at the future Second Coming of Christ.
They also seem to think that all of the Israelites are "partially" blinded, instead of understanding the context of the passage found in Romans 11:1-5, where some of the Israelites are blinded and some are not blinded.
The "covenant" in Romans 11:27 is the New Covenant confirmed for all races of people at Calvary, instead of a future covenant with the modern State of Israel.
The Olive Tree is a symbol of the New Covenant Church made up of Israelites and Gentiles grafted together into one tree.
The only path to salvation in the passage is by being grafted into the Olive Tree, through faith in Christ.
The passage is about the method of salvation, instead of the timing of salvation.
.
What you are dishing out is "Replacement Theology" and it is wrong. God is not done with Israel.
The Church is the Body of Christ, save us and Holy and forever. But Gods covenants with Israel were not abolished or fulfilled. The are promises. So the Church did not void and blot out those promises with Israel. They will be grafted into the body of Christ. A remnant Israel will be saved. No need for endless geneologies, God knows who they are.The true version of replacement Theology replaces the One seed, with the many seeds in Galatians 3:16.
It replaces the children of the promise with the children of the flesh in Romans 9:8.
It replaces the word "so", with the word "then" in Romans 11:26.
It replaces the New Covenant fulfilled for all races of people at Calvary with a future covenant in Romans 11:27.
It replaces the one people of God, with two peoples of God in John 10:16.
It ignores the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and specifically applied to the Church in Hebrews 12:22-24, and 2 Corinthians 3:6-8.
It ignores the fact that Paul addressed the crowd as "all the house of Israel" in Acts 2:36, and the fact that when the Church began almost all of its members were Israelites.
It ignores Paul calling himself an Israelite, after his conversion in Romans 11:1.
It ignores James addressing his letter to "the twelve tribes".
It ignores the admonition to avoid genealogies in the verses below.
1Ti_1:4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
Tit_3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
It goes off of the road to Emmaus and into the ditch, instead. (Luke 24:25-27)
.
But Gods covenants with Israel were not abolished or fulfilled. The are promises. So the Church did not void and blot out those promises with Israel.
I don't think so.... I don't believe that everything is pre planned. Is this thread going to turn into a Predestination vs Free will thread?
I like that topic
I don't think she did.Oh... well Handmaid for Jesus claimed to be excited about it anyway.
Who is the ultimate fulfillment of Israel?
It is found in the first verse of the New Testament.
Mat 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. (It is the most important genealogy in the Bible.)
Paul confirms this below.
Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Paul said that the promise made to Abraham was made only to Christ.
He goes on to clearly say that the promise was not made to more than one seed.
How much plainer could it be?
Gal 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Paul says above that we are Abraham's seed and heirs to the promise.
Nobody has a relationship with God, who rejects His Son.
1Jn 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1Jn 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
This is what the New Testament plainly says.
We find in Jeremiah 31:31-34 that the New Covenant was promised to Israel and Judah.
In Matthew 26:28 Jesus says He will fulfill this New Covenant in His Blood.
What did Peter say on the Day of Pentecost?
Act 2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
Act 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
Act 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Peter was talking to "all the house of Israel" on that day.
About 3,000 Israelites accepted the New Covenant on Pentecost.
Based on Galatians 1:14-18, Paul did not take the Gospel to the Gentiles until about 3 years later.
The New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34 is found fulfilled word for word by Christ, during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13.
The New Covenant has made the Old Covenant "obsolete" in Hebrews 8:13.
In Matthew chapter 21 Christ reveals that the "son" is the "heir" to the land.
He tells the Jewish leadership that the kingdom will be taken from those who reject the "chief cornerstone" and it will be given to another nation bearing fruit.
In 1 Peter 2:4-10 Peter reveals that we are that "holy nation" which accepted the "chief cornerstone".
Why would we insist today that the land should now be given back to the Pharisees who still reject the "chief cornerstone"?
The whole Bible is a book about Christ, based on Luke 24:25-27.
He is Israel.
This is what the Bible says.
The only way for modern Jews to be saved is by being grafted back into the Olive Tree, which is a symbol of the New Covenant Church, through faith in Christ.
The Olive Tree is Israel.
There is only one tree.
If we want modern Jews to be saved, they need to hear the Old Testament Gospel of Isaiah chapter 53, and the promise of the New Covenant in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and the timeline of the New Covenant Messiah found in Daniel chapter 9.
Because of the modern Two Peoples of God doctrine first brought to American by John Nelson Darby, the Church has done a pitiful job of taking the Gospel to the Jewish people.
Each year thousands die without Christ.
What you are promoting is a big part of the problem.
.
That means they have been blinded to this very day!
