No, people who preach your gospel cannot themselves live up to what they demand of others so many in that situation become hard nosed and simply put on an act on the outside as they cannot live up to what they preach on the insideHard nosed to what? The idea of being in complete dedication to God’s Commands?

I have already stated before that a person has to first repent of their sins, accept Christ into their heart, and believe that Jesus died, was buried, and was risen so as to save them from their sins. Belief that Jesus is one's Savior is the first step. But that is not all that we are supposed to have. There has to be a surrendering to Christ. So that Christ can work in us, too (Obeying what He commands of us). Why? Because Jesus said, if you love me, keep my commandments. Jesus' commandments are everything written in the New Testament. How can they not be?Ah Jason, how your words show your gospel has cut out the heart of Christianity by it
Need a real world example? Okay. Let's say I am captured by some bad guys and they put me in prison wrongfully. Let's say there are others with me who do not deserve to be there either. I encourage otheres to shoot for the goal to escape. Whether I acheived that goal is besides the point. We all know that freedom is better than being in prison. Even if we all knew that the odds were against us or if things seemed impossible or hopeless. We would all want to press on towards the mark and run the race and escape from such a place. Even if me or another might fail at escaping. If we can still draw breath, we would want to fight for that freedom because we know it is the right thing to do. Just as it is the right thing to do in doing that which is good and righteous by the power of Jesus Christ. You may have a lack of faith in the Scriptures in a believer in stopping in their sin, but I do not. I will never give up and I will fight in submitting to my LORD so that He can rule in my life 100%.It is wrong to demand of others what you fail to live up to in your own life, that is being pharisiecal

There is no act. I can only stand and do what is right by the power of Jesus Christ. For a believer can do nothing without Him.Cf

I see that despite twice being asked to explain how being born again changes a person, and for your views of what the result is of Gods laws being written on your mind and placed on your heart are, you haven't responded to the questions. I have to wonder if you feel unable to answer them.I have already stated before that a person has to first repent of their sins, accept Christ into their heart, and believe that Jesus died, was buried, and was risen so as to save them from their sins. From what you have written I assume you believe if you do not obey commandments of Jesus you have committed sin. I say this because you earnestly follow the literal letter, and keep stressing Jesus words. If you love me obey my commandmentsThere is no act. I can only stand and do what is right by the power of Jesus Christ. For a believer can do nothing without Him.

My time is limited and such a reply requires a proper response with Scripture. You can't expect me to be a robot machine who spits out answers perfectly every time you require it. I do have a life outside of here. I could give you the quick answer, but for those faithful believers who want to follow God are looking for good reasons in Scripture, that is what I am going to give them (out of care and love for them). But such a thing requires time (of which I currently do not have).I see that despite twice being asked to explain how being born again changes a person, and for your views of what the result is of Gods laws being written on your mind and placed on your heart are, you haven't responded to the questions. You seem to have a lot of time to spare to chat in this thread. But occasionally, when asked certain questions you respond with. I am busy or my time is limited. You needn't need to quote scripture to answer those points, just give your personal opinion concerning the changes they bring to a personMy time is limited and such a reply requires a proper response with Scripture. I gave you a very detailed response to the four points you sought clarification of yesterdayMy time is limited and such a reply requires a proper response with Scripture. Besides, you have not answered every question that I have asked.

No one that wants to talk about Christ and willing to hold a conversation about Christ should be rejected.Stuart, the scripture says a heretick after the 1st and 2nd admonition reject. Jason is a heretick, and is to be rejected,Don't waste your time.
Again, please do not accuse me falsely of something I do not believe. For one, the Pharisees did not keep God's moral law on a daily basis. I do. Second, I do not believe any of the ceremonial laws under the Old are in effect anymore and nor do I believe in the laws of the Pharisees. False accusations only weaken your argument. Oh and before you say that I accused you of believing of something without apologizing, please keep in mind you have not been forth coming with me on what those accusations are when I asked.Jesus said the Pharisees tithed down to their last mint dill and cumin but neglected justice and the love of God.
When all you have is the literal letter and in reality try and hinge your hope of heaven on perfect obedience to ut you must neglect the love of God. You rip the heart of the gospel out of your life, and you become as those Pharisees did.
Paul knew how to speak to them because he WAS one of them in the past. Please read Acts 23:6
There are sins that lead unto death and sins that do not lead unto spiritual death. I do not commit sins daily that lead unto death. That does not mean I have not faltered on occasion. But I believe the Bible when it says we can overcome sin for good. So this would require faith on your part. Not faith in ourselves but in God.Although, if he does not understand. It has been explained to him several times in this thread, so if he does not know, he should know.
The Lord tells us to ALWAYS be ready to give testimony of what we have in Christ. So if he thinks he does not sin, he needs to come up to Jesus standards as far as his testimony because God tells us to be ready.
I really feel you concerning what your cousin and aunt told you. But for people to tell you you cannot be saved because you were baptised in the name of father, son and holy spirit rather than Jesus alone shows how little they understand of the true message. Jesus himself said baptise people in the name of father, son and holy spiritYes. I have found this too.
Deep down many times these people are so tired of having to be perfect all the time that when they see someone else sin they blast them hard. They are usually the modern day Pharisee's of the saved. or so I have found. They judge others the hardest because they feel that since they 'do not sin' or so they say, that they have the right to point out others sin.
My cousin and aunt are holiness Oneness Pentecostals. I have been told so many times right to my face that I am on my way to hell because I was baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and not Jesus Only. Well that and they believe salvation must be proven by the gift of tongues.
So I'm a hard core headed to hell unregenerated unsaved sinner in their eyes.
In my eyes, they are misguided at the least and judgmental.
I couldn't forgive them for six years. It took prayer and God six years for me to finally forgive them. That is some HURTFUL stuff.
