Thanks! I feel you have a high view of me when I don't consider myself perfect.

That's Lady Bella for you, David. Like Multifavs, she always seems agreeable and willing to see only the best in others and uplift them. :)

@SarahsKnight and @LaBèlla: Aww, thank you for the kind compliments. :happyblush: That's just like you two, always wanting to compliment others kindly. :)

I still have the teddy bear my grandparents gave me for my first birthday.
I still have a little stuffed leopard that I had as a baby, so you're not alone there! Always good to keep things like that, I'd say. :)

I still have my first teddy bear too, with most of it's light brown fur plucked off, and half of its stuffing flattened and with stitches in places where it had been repaired, and his name is appropriately "Teddy" of course! :)

Imperfections in plushies only mean they've been very loved! ^-^

My poor little leopard got lost in storage for a very long time, so I didn't get to play with him growing up. When he was finally found last year he was a little dirty and had several small holes from being in there so long. But a wash and some stitches made him good as new! :)

I would have to agree about @Multifavs. She is definitely a tender soul, who always seeks to uplift and encourage others. It is such a blessing being her friend and big brother.:blueheart:

But back to confessions, ^-^ since I believe it was @LaBèlla who mentioned being a fan of Winnie the Pooh, I had a song pertaining to Winnie playing in my car today that I remember being chosen to highlight the series of pictures depicting myself and my mother in a video that my father and sister made for her once long ago - way back when I was a child still in elementary school and we lived in South Carolina - as a birthday present. (Since my mother's schtick back then was to satirically act like the smartest person alive and queen of the world, my father and sister titled it "The Princess Video" for her amusement. ^_^ ) I don't have a good memory of being attracted to the world of Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin, and the rest when I was smaller, but I must have been, as this song was what my father and sister chose to play as the backdrop against the part of my mother's past life that involved me growing up from helpless newborn (who immediately flirted with the first nurse he saw after coming into the world, of course :p ) to ten year-old fifth-grader.

It's by Kenny Loggins and Amy Grant. ^-^

I guess the confession here is that despite it being Kenny Loggins I really like this song and still have it in my "SK's Music Box" PC collection, as I term it and once made a thread about, if you recall. :D
The Music Box

I mean, come on, even in my parents' day I think Kenny Loggins was considered unhip. :p (I personally like a lot of his songs, nevertheless. Every time I play the highway chase out of Midgar section in Final Fantasy VII, I always hear "Highway to the Danger Zone" in my head, for instance. ^_^ )

In terms of confessions....when I was younger, I wanted to be a Karate master. :ahah: I loved watching movies with martial arts, and would often go outside, imitating what I saw...after making sure none of the neighbors were watching of course. =P

I loved getting long sticks and swinging them around like they were swords, spears, etc. :zoro:

Hey, totally with you on that.

I would would much rather be a warrior in the way of the hand and foot than the sword or gun. :)

I remember back in the 1970s swearing at the teacher at school in front of the class when I was only 5 years old.

Basically we were sitting on the carpet listening to her reading a story and the story was crap! So I started having a natter and a giggle with my friend who was sitting next to me. The teacher shouted at me and told me to be quiet and I gave her a piece of my mind!

I remember getting my first taste of a bar of soap.

LOL I'm still kind of like that even now as I've taken various martial arts classes over the years, BUT you reminded me of one of my most favorite things as a small child. I loved, loved, loved that cartoon Hong Kong Phooey, and can still sing the opening song to this day, and so I would often play Hong Kong Phooey by dressing up in an old red bathrobe that used to belong to my older brother because it looked like what HKP wore, and of course I had a black Halloween mask too, and for the Hong Kong Book of Kung Fu, I recovered a small cartoon book with black paper and put Hong Kong Book of Kung Fu on the cover so it would be like the one he had, and since I had long hair, I would have my mom put it up in two ponytails on the side to resemble dog ears, and then I was all ready to use Kung Fu power to fight crime!

Your confession is a whole lot cooler than mine, haha. I still remember the HKP theme myself from back in the day. ^_^

I grew up watching Samurai Sunday with Bruce Lee. I was my brother’s sparring partner. Not willingly! He’s six years older. Our battles were legendary. They resulted in major scolding for both. :p

I like Tom Wu (Hundred Eyes). The quivering palm is my favorite move! :zoro:
