Trump's morals or supposed lack thereof has absolutely nothing to do about the issues we elected him to enact. Stormy Daniels has nothing to do with a wall. Stupid comments have nothing to do with immigration reform and so on.

Ordinarily I would agree with your sentiment here. If he cheats on Melania it isn't anyone's business but theirs, same for Bill and Hill.

But in the context of this thread, I think the point is that you're happy to put him on display as the leader of the free world for your children to see, but a guy that likes dressing up is somehow worse. If exposing children to sin is bad, then a super-sinner like DJ Trump shouldn't be made the most famous person in America, amirite?

I think most never trumpers have no Idea what they are even talking about in the first place. Its like a skipping record replaying over and over that you can't turn off. Same exact arguments verbatim for yeeeeaaaaarrrrrrrrssssss.

Given the views in this thread, it seems like it is only a problem with specific sins. Or maybe only a problem if the people sinning have specific views about certain types of minorities not being second class citizens. Given all the morals that have to be sacrificed to support the current administration it gets kinda hard to see what the rules are supposed to be.

That's the thing though, I already said I would agree with you in most circumstances. The thing you would need to explain is how you can come in here and complain about putting sins on prominent display to children after putting sins on prominent display to children and having no problem with it. You could have gone with Cruz or Jeb if such a thing was important to you.

Just curious on if you're conviction are consistent, or limited to the "sins" you, yourself, find it easier to abstain from.

False equivalence...Preaching Nazism is an actual agenda, whereas a person saying "hey, I'm just a person, no reason to be afraid of me or be mean to me" is simply just a request for being treated with civility. I suppose you can call that "an agenda" if you'd like...but comparing drag queens to Nazi is still a false equivalence. I would allow my kids to be read appropriate books or taught appropriate things by obese people or adulterers, just as I would allow gay and trans people to do the same. But that's not the question here. Do try to keep up.

I would not allow my kids to be read a book by a glutton about how gluttony is good.

I would not allow my kids to be read a book by an adulterer about how adultery is good.

I would not allow my kids to be read a book by LGBT people about how LGBT is good.

The people aren't the problem. The contents of the book is the problem. Don't move those goal posts.

It wasn't worth the argument of responding to someone who thinks I don't consider my very own brother or any LGBT person as human because my faith and my scriptures call such things sin and thus so do I. Quite disgusting, actually, to accuse someone of that, but I've long since abandoned shock at what is posted on Christian Forums.

As for my edited post in which I said, Not worth it, in regards to that slander, if we take that at face value as if I was saying it isn't worth going, and proceed with your reply, well then I must say that you're shutting down a conversation and an entire thread because the thread asks if I would allow my kids to go to such a thing.

You said in my hypothetical scenario, that the nazi has an actual agenda, well so does the gay man. They arent reading a book about counting, they're reading a book about gay people, gay lifestyles, GAY AGENDA.
