Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
Personally, I'm all for them fighting for their rights as long as doing so does not remove the rights of another group, otherwise, we just keep fighting indefinitely for rights from people who are oppressed. Ah well, deaf ears....

Just to make perfectly and utterly sure that I'm not even *slightly* misrepresenting anything you wrote: can you give us an example of rights of another group being removed?

Well, to do so would be off topic and therefore a violation of forum rules, but we can talk about an example that was provided in this thread. You see, someone made the argument that the transgender has a right to transition...I agree, no one has a right to take away the right for a transgender person to transition. That being said, if you go down the road of another poster who declared that a 5 year old should be able to demand transitional surgery, you are removing the right of every child who at 5 years old doesn't know what is going on or what is the best thing for them. In fact, you are removing the right of the parent to be a responsible parent.

as I said, taking what I say out of context, reinventing context to make it into something I did not say, is misrepresentation, but you know that, I have pointed it out to you several times over now...

As I pointed out in another post where I was accused of disagreement being the problem....we weren't even disagreeing, and I was still being slandered...end of story.
wow, it was a several post long discussion where I pointed out that that was not a wise argument. If you didn't follow it the first time, you are free to review the discussion and find it on your own time. That is the fun of a public discussion.
