Sediment, is that which settles out of water that inundates an area for long periods
The ONLY calendar we have for these relics (found in sediments) is traces of radioactive decay (~elements)
What 'human' was around, to RECORD it, anyway ?

I cannot say, if the Great Flood of Noah's time, was that inundation (of course!!!)
But, you should not rule out 'past-civilisations' having been washed-away ~by God's Almighty Hand

I do rule out past civilizations! God wiped out mankind once. WHY INVENT IMAGINARY OTHER CIVILIZATIONS?

As a matter of geological record, the Earth's magnetic field has undergone numerous reversals of polarity.
We can see this in the magnetic patterns found in volcanic rocks, especially those recovered from the ocean floors.
In the last 10 million years, there have been, on average, 4 or 5 reversals per million years.

Prove magnetic reversals only happen in your imaginary millions of years or state drive exposed as peddling belief. As I said, if the laws and forces and nature changed, magnetic reversals reflect something that was rapid and more recent.

You see, it is not belief versus science, but belief as science versus SCRIPTURE.

and also, by this 'standard' that the next one, is, a little OVERDUE

Yeah, our species is really prone to hubris, if you haven't noticed. It was less than 50 years ago that we finally accepted we weren't the only species on the planet alive today that makes and uses tools, and plenty of people refuse to accept it even now. Language too, people are stubborn, even scientists sometimes.

I figure, that I have NOT walked a 'non-existent' path
nor, led a USELESS existence
and, my accumulated experience (wit) has witnessed sufficient
to permit me, to-acknowledge 'the works', of eminent expertise (in their fields)
as-having; merit / 'justly reported' their experiences (findings)

If, I learn 'something to the contrary' I will amend my thinking (as can we all)

and, when it does, is likely to stop short of, 'causing harm' / 'wilful sin' (?)

That is actually a flawed way of thinking, highly prone to personal bias and circumventing logic. It sure sounds poetic, but if one wishes to avoid bias as much as possible, personal feelings are irrelevant.
