But it would be an amazing coincidence that they happened to be there in exactly the right ratios.

So you are still appealing to coincidence. Try again?
No. Why would it be coincidence that the ratios were created? Naturally when a nature change happened the ratios would still be here, all that is changed is what the stuff now does under our laws.

Why would anyone want to create the ratios intentionally so that they look like the result of millions of years of decay when they aren't? If this is the case, it would seem God WANTS us to think the world is millions of years old, so why aren't you accepting it?

No. I am pointing out that your silly imaginary dates are completely bogus.
Ah yes, with your extensive knowledge of the science involved and your lengthy argument which overturns centuries of discoveries and disproves all the methods that are used to come up with these dates. How did I miss it?

Science has one trick and only one trick when it comes to modeling the past. They use present laws and realities and try to reverse engineer everything using this nature. That has no meaning whatsoever unless there also WAS such a state in the past. The darn thing is they cannot prove that. Really. This means you have belief only.

You have a sordid imagination. Just because a changed nature would start to affect what was already there, does not mean that it never did anything else than what it now does. The only was some trickster act could be involved is if we always had this nature, and the isotopes and etc were created for no reason other than to look old in this state! No. They simply started to behave as they do now when our nature came to exist, I assume.

Why are you disparaging belief? Don't you claim the right to believe things?

We wouldn't hold those views if it weren't for the empirical evidence that supports them. Nobody came up with it. There's no author. The data said it. So no, it's not belief.

Sounds suspiciously like 'Last Thursdayism' - i.e. we can't prove the world wasn't created last Thursday (or any other arbitrary time), complete with indications of ancient history.

Well no, ultimately we can't prove anything, but we can follow the evidence - without which, all we have is competing stories.

Balony. You show us empirical evidence for a same state past and we can talk. Until then be honest about your religious beliefs.

4500 years ago is not last week. Your desire to make the past comply with today is not healthy. No evidence can be followed to show that the nature in Adams day was then same, only belief leads there.

A coincidence that ALL the ratios around the world just happened to be the same as what we would expect to see if they had been formed by millions of years of decay.

Why didn't they have a ratio that couldn't have come about by decay? Then we'd all be saying, "Well, these ratios obviously weren't formed by radioactive decay, so I guess Dad was right!"

Why, out of all the possible ratios they could have had, do they have the exact ratio that indicates millions of years of decay? You have never explained what mechanism requires this.

You have a lot if learning to do, and what happens when you follow men is a major one .

You know not the Spirit, even listed active in Genesis 6:3.

You are not the only one, nor void of His teaching, as mentioned in I John 2: 27.

I was once a Humanist and Naturalist, but have been Born Again, a wonderous experience with Him on High.

You have more to learn than what men teach.

How did you get that from my post? Perhaps you should address the person I was addressing: the one making huge claims without any evidence.
