All things hold symbolism that relate to the process, and there are endless truths to be found in them when we let the spirit guide us into these truths as a treasure that is hid in us.

In one form, Egypt was Joseph's tabernacle that was rejected, and his son (of an Egyptian) that was not accepted (Ishmael), even though Joseph was a picture of Christ and testified of him by the life that he had lived.

God calls every son out of the image that he is flesh which is what the world perceives itself as.

God calls us all out of the world. We were slaves to sin, much like the Jews were slaves to Egypt. So we are set free by Christ who leads us to the promised land, but we must not murmur or serve idolatry (worldliness) because God calls us to be a holy nation, a royal priesthood. Likewise, God tells us not to be yoked with the world, much like the Jews were also commanded. THe Jews are our examples, as Paul says. The old things are a shadow of the new things in Christ.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18New King James Version (NKJV)

14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you[a] are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

“I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”
17 Therefore

“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”[c]
18 “I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.”[d]

2 Corinthians 7 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Perhaps the promised land is heaven, or perhaps its His kingdom on earth. Im unsure but this is the promise. We need no Kings, Judges nor a Temple. We ourselves are anointed, we have the teacher and the Judge within, we are the temple of God.. But we must first grow into this revelation by obeying the teaching of Christ and His apostles. And even then, their words are always with us, guiding us, as Christ has promised.

John 6:45 It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’[a] Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.

1 John 2:27New King James Version (NKJV)

27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will[a] abide in Him.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

John 14:25 “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Mathew 7:24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.

1 Corinthians 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

God calls us all out of the world. We were slaves to sin, much like the Jews were slaves to Egypt.

You are right, we were slaves to sin which Paul spoke of (in one place) as being the mind that is at enmity with God.

So Egypt is (also) a mentality much like the mentality the ten spies had of the land that caused them to turn back into the wilderness where they provoked God ten times (which every time you see ten of something it is referencing the law in relationship to what surrounds it) in the case of the provocation it is referencing the law as being this mentality of sin, or their lack, or their perception of God's lack on their behalf, because of the judgment they judged by their own sight (which is the same thing in application as to what God said to Jeremiah, if he became afraid of their faces, what he then would become to him, which is what he became to the children of Israel, not one of them outside of Joshua and Caleb (not even Moses) made it into the promise land, though this is where they were before God caused a famine in the land of Canaan that drove them to Egypt in the first place, just as Abraham was), but Israel is God's firstborn just as Adam (in picture) was God's firstborn, or Ishmael.

We must remember that Paul who (whether he was talking about someone else or himself), saw things that were unlawful to speak, which is to say he saw things that he had no words for which related to the son God was revealing in him (Paul I know, Jesus I know, but who are you), and therefore applicable to everyone God was fulfilling his purpose in.

the kingdom of heaven is anarchy. it is between a person and God because the relationship is very personal. those who love God teach because children ( those more in the flesh than spirit ) need lights and guidance. and so God sends his angels, both physical and not physical to guide us. a person is also tempted away from God by evil which of itself is a specific kind of light. obviously, slavery in egypt is not a condition that any SANE person would want to be in. but this ideology of egypt ( and thus also the wilderness because it is between two opposing kingdoms ) controls people more than they believe it does. it hinders us greatly from understanding God in a clearer light. goodness births good things and evil births evil things. and so being influenced by people that are close to God is only a good thing, especially for people who are so overwhelmed by the world and the pains that can be experienced and the kinds of mindsets that slowly evolve in our world.

almost anything can make us fall away from God and almost anything can bring us closer to God. our hearts must be innocent and pure. we must hate evil and love God. we can't even justify God or pretend everything is okay if we believe God does something wrong. we have to reason with Him so that we can understand self and Him better. passivity towards God is like being spiritually apathetic in understanding who he is. God did not want SHEEP. God wanted children.

sin is not an insurmountable obstacle that will forever hold us down. we can not ignore the reality of sin in this world either. believing that sin will always keep us away from God is just as worthless as believing that there is no such thing as sin in this world.

Sheep is only a term that describes us as followers of Christ. But God didn't want us to be followers of men, he did send apostles who wrote the NT to help us know how to follow Christ, but any teachers who are not teaching their words are only teaching men to follow themselves rather than Christ

The loneliness of the Christian results from his walk with God in an ungodly world, a walk that must often take him away from the fellowship of good Christians as well as from that of the unregenerate world. His God-given instincts cry out for companionship with others of his kind, others who can understand his longings, his aspirations, his absorption in the love of Christ; and because within his circle of friends there are so few who share his inner experiences he is forced to walk alone.

The unsatisfied longings of the prophets for human understanding caused them to cry out in their complaint, and even our Lord Himself suffered in the same way.

The man [or woman] who has passed on into the divine Presence in actual inner experience will not find many who understand him. He finds few who care to talk about that which is the supreme object of his interest, so he is often silent and preoccupied in the midst of noisy religious shoptalk. For this he earns the reputation of being dull and over-serious, so he is avoided and the gulf between him and society widens.

He searches for friends upon whose garments he can detect the smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia out of the ivory palaces, and finding few or none he, like Mary of old, keeps these things in his heart.

It is this very loneliness that throws him back upon God. His inability to find human companionship drives him to seek in God what he can find nowhere else.

Everytime we entertain a thought, or speak a word that is less than who God percieves us to be in him we rob him; along with this is the truth that we are our brother's keeper, and is reflected in the two commandments that are like unto each other, being that you cannot have one witthout the other.

I like that. here is another part of it. the lyrics are there because a lot of people don't like this kind of music and it's hard to understand what they say.

6. Reflections Of A Broken Soul

I fooled myself again
Trusting an illusion
Of what I thought to be
Never ceasing love
I burned myself again
Leaving scars that never heal
Becoming cynical
To this thing called love

Look into my mind
Fragments of what I desired
In this state I cry
Father please won't you show me

Show me how
To stop it now
Cleanse my mind
Help me find
Love

My soul is an open wound
Filled with salt of sadness
Was this my destiny
To be left alone
I nurse my misery
Leave no room for anyone
Still I am cynical
To this thing called love

A pale reflection
Of a broken soul
Slips through these eyes
Full of tears
Emotional blackout

I cannot trust my own feelings
My sorrow eats me up inside

Learn from mistakes
See what it takes
My feelings fail
Your love remains

3. Depressed

Fighting seems so in vain
Weakened by my own brain
Mindless torture blackening my thoughts
I'm flying away to my deepest decay
I'm falling through the black hole
I've lost my tears now I'm cold
Deeper deeper deeper I'll fall
I have no strength hear my call
My soul is screaming let me free
Take away this pain I see
Descending feelings where are you leading me
Desires of death rules in my darkness
In the shadows I'll die all alone
Blinding sorrow there's no tomorrow
There's no place my soul can hide
Slain by the thoughts that lied
Fighting seems so in vain
Weakened by my own brain
See the reason to exist
Jesus help me trough this miss

6. Inmost Fear

Never to feel nothing too real
The place of doom this empty room
Look inside the brain
The unconscious chain
All the time awaiting
Creatures my soul are taking
Who can break these chains
Only death remains
The inmost fear it's all so near
The evil within stored by sin
The dark side forsaken
Ready to be awakened
In my darkest hour
I can feel the power
Running through my vein
Driving me insane
Where am I to go
Still inside my soul
Reaching out from within
Who can forgive my sin
If I could reach the door
All this pain no more
No more...

9. As I Die
My hands in the open wound
The knife clutches near
The blood of my veins spread out
My flesh become soiled

This desperate act of loss
The pain of knowing why
My mind slips into a blur
Upcoming questions... as I die

Forever in search of the truth
I find myself puzzled

Don't you feel the urge
The passionate flow
The endless collision
Of purity and evil

Since we're of the flesh
We are to realize
That mankind must end
If purity will prevail

Forever in search of the truth
I find myself puzzled
... as I die

Don't you feel the urge
The passionate flow
The endless collision
Of purity and evil

Since we're of the flesh
We are to realize
That mankind must end
If purity will prevail

Death is my goal / Death, set me free
In my living hell, I can no longer be
Please bring me back home
Where I can be free

why do people care if they live? why do people want to be healed? this world is the greatest hell i can think of. it's a prison compared to the things I have seen. everything here goes through my hand like a bunch of dust. there is nothing I can hold on to in this place. the torture of the madness of this reality... I have to breath air. I have to have shelter. I have to eat food. I feel pain. I grow old. they don't understand the torments and pains of hell because they became used to it. they make it worse for themselves. we all try to be good and we fail and we destroy ourselves. now I remember what this place is!

reduced to vanity! to dust. to nothing. where is my love? but I don't see you. to this day my enemies try to kill me. they try to convince me that God is not. they try to slay me with their logic and understanding of reality. they try to say i am the poor one and that i need help. enemies! they say to me they seek the true love but I can't find that true love anywhere. I don't know what to be!

endless feelings and thoughts and they matter. I don't feel the pain enough. I hardly feel anything. they want to tell me that I must be with God and he must be here... but God constantly refuses me. how long will you torture me God? how long will I not understand you God? how many times do I have to go through this... but I would rather feel this than to be happy. because I can't find you enough.

but i'm fine and I don't care and this madness never seems to end.

faith? belief? take no thought? as if that could ever grasp hold of God! "let go of your passions" they say. but they don't know me and I don't want relief. this world is the worst torture that there is. suffering in the blackness of the abyss would be better than this world.

I can't kill myself and that is the worst thing I have to go through.

why do they think that suffering is evil? why do they want to run away and go off and feel the joy? i prayed to God to crush me to nothing again because I hate myself but I don't know the way or myself. people that want to be content are frauds. people that claim themselves to be enlightened are liars. this universe is nothing. it's an ugly flake that comes off the scalp of my head. and they want to speak about ONENESS? with this sick reality? they want to call THIS universe God? but I know that I hate them for NO reason and there is no divine logic with me.

you want to understand me? I don't understand myself. JUST because i loved people, I change. "I wanted something more" is my constant cry. GOD! if you just want to be an abstract concept then what good are you? JUST KILL ME.

I'm Gods devil and i'm the only devil that loves him. and I don't like comfort, because it's my enemy.

but there are different parts of people. they all try to do good. but it's confusion for us because we can't see God good enough. to try to explain what I want to express within the confines of this human body. this human experience. it frustrates me because I don't know how to express love enough. the human heart, emotions, thoughts... they are all too limiting. this beast is not strong enough. this capacity is not enough. so all of the capacity of humanity is filled with God and overflows for the natural direction for humans is to do good.

but it's frustrating trying to express the truth to people because the goodness of God has to go through this medium called the physical body and it is limited in it's capacity to express. plus all the parts of a persons soul must be gathered together for that which is the best... who is God and his kingdom and this does not do away with the person but rather the true person is then found.

so with all that I am I try to love God. but to feel good or not feel good can be a good or an evil thing.

It's interesting how truth is everywhere. The ongoing, or eternal knowing, or kingdom whose increase has no end, is the love that God is and who we collectively reveal.

I wrote along these lines this morning to some friends ... (Though I know you know this).

The soul tries to express the truth but becomes caught between labor and virgin. Why does one fight against God when he alone is the good. What does one still en-devour to take the kingdom through violence when it was freely given in the mind of God before ever there was a labor to bring forth.

They reject it (according to degrees/measurement) for the same reason the ten spies rejected the promise. The mind of God as something we have always possessed is as elusive by thought as it has been from the beginning. It will hinder until the image is consumed of itself. The clincher in this is that it has to do with the whole of humanity, not just a few. Nothing happens outside of faith, but faith is no more separate from thought then spirit is from soul, but if there are still shadows (I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense/a cross/the only way), there is still disparity in the individual between them, which makes faith a substance less than the person. There remains a confusion of face.

(On another of the same notes) John 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. How many has he given him … all that the Father has (The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein) is his, which doesn't leave any that were not given him, let alone created by him.

(Retsoremysoul) Faith is not ruled over by or subjugated to emotion, faith is the subject of emotion (though every idle/faithless word we are judged by) as a present truth of the process in us) everything relates to the fellowship between the father and son in which we find ourselves quite literally).
