This world is without sin; however, there is still evil.

What is this in context to but those who decide not to marry
Was this what the poster of this thread was discussing?
Shall we bring up all of Matthew 19

Ah. I didn't realize there could be any discussion about the OP or that anyone took the OP seriously.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9

Evidently this world has sin.

Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Evidently this world has sin.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
Romans 3:23-24

Evidently this world has sin.

If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.
Matthew 18:15

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.

Colossians 3:5

Direct my footsteps according to your word;
let no sin rule over me.

Psalm 119:133

Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law;
rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

Romans 3:20

Evidently Christians in this world do have sin and commit
and deal with additional sins and they continue to commit.

Do you speak out of two sides of your mouth?

You tried to encourage that man by supplying out of context scripture and told him iits his faith

NOW

AH!

BEHOLD THERE IS SIN IN THE WORLD!

I had no idea there was any discussion on the matter.
If you didn't understand a different discussion, that's fine.

Even at face value, a historic event is not present tense.
Yes; however, there are things in the KJV Bible meant to be read in the present tense. The message to us in 2 Peter 3:8 is in present tense. This is to understand the fifth day and sixth day in Revelation 20:1-7, from the 21st Century of the fourth day of the creation.
Jesus may have meant; today, the fourth day of the creation when He said, "To day" in Luke 23:43. This is present tense for days as with the Lord, the days of the creation.

So does this revelation cover all the verses mentioned?

Oh, I think I have you now. You are referring to the world being "Good".
Yes, originally what was created was perfect. But then something changed:

11 Not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

12 Therefore,
just as sin entered the world through one man,
and death through sin,
so also death was passed on to all men,
because all sinned.

13 For sin was in the world before the Law was given; but sin is not taken into account when there is no law.

In this original "Garden" there was fruit trees with knowledge, God was walking around with Adam, serpents were chatty, etc.

The original 'Garden" was not the world we live in now.
In Fact, God kicked A&E OUT of the Garden and put guards at
the gate. We have not found this gate with flaming swords
in all our travels. This tells us that our world was not the
garden paradise that scripture refers to.

We live in a different world, not perfect.

That would be your faith, sir.
Not anyone else's.
Some translations use the word "receive."

Matthew 19:11 Jesus replied, "Not everyone can accept this word but only those to whom it has been given

2 Corinthians 11:4 For if someone comes to you and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough.

1 Timothy 1:15 Here is a trustworthy saying that and everyone should accept it: "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners"--and I am the worst of them all. ...

Acts 22:18 and saw the Lord speaking to me. 'Quick!' he said. ''Make haste and leave Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about Me.'

John 6:60 On hearing it, many of his disciples said, "What he says
is hard to accept. Who wants to listen to him anymore ...
I apologize. I thought you were encouraging his faith by supplying him scriptures telling him not to listen to what others say

I thought you were encouraging him to believe that there IS no sin in the world when THE WORD of GOD clearly says the HOLY SPIRIT will reprove the WORLD of sin

Oh that certainly sounds like me. I hope I did that.
Truth is up to God to tell through the Spirit.
People suck at it.

When they supply portions of GOD's WORD out of context, that doesn't "suck"?

You not only truncate GOD's WORD but others as well

You only supplied half of what I said

Why should I be surprised

Here is the rest of what i said:

I thought you were encouraging him to believe that there IS no sin in the world when THE WORD of GOD clearly says the HOLY SPIRIT will reprove the WORLD of sin

When someone encourages someone to have faith in something that is not true, it isn't good

This is true. Some forums do not allow this. Some do.
To compensate they add a little arrow to read the
original post in context.

Proper context for scripture is:
the sentences before and after
the chapters before and after
the books before and after.

I don't have room in my posts for complete context.

Is that a truth?

Really?

You seemed okay posting Kenneth's full post?

And you didn't seem to have a problem posting my full post before?

Are you sure that what you are saying is true?
