I got my MRI results back on friday. It looks like I don't need surgery.

We are going to try phys therapy again. I've been trying to move it around more this weekend. Vicodin is my friend :) .

thanks for asking

I'm glad to hear you won't be needing surgery. If this is going to be a while in healing ask your Doc about a TENS unit. It beats pain pills. Years ago I wore 3 of them at the same time. They gave me the only relief I could get. Vicodon become like cool aide after a while, I know from experience. :prayer:

Our Lords blessings and assistance with your shoulder, Seajoy. May he give you the strength to cope, and the healing with which to deal with it. But over all, the grace of his spirit.

To answer your questions, not well. I may lose my phone service today. The only way I'll be able to continue it will be to authorize a withdrawl from my bank account, overdrafting it even more. My landlord is demanding that I pay rent on Friday, and I don't know where I'll get it. If just a few of these cars would sell, along with my trailer, things would be much easier. Sigh... so many things, so little money.
Oh, Lord, my faith is weak. Help my faith.:crossrc:

Well, with those (sorry:sorry: ) sunny and upbeat thoughts... Ah! The kettle is singing. Anyone for a cuppa? I thought perhaps a pot of Plantation Mint today? There's a plate of Mum's Almond Cresents (her recipie, I baked the biscuits) and some packets of Swiss Miss as well.;) You know, I have a bit of fruit cake here as well. Used Blackberry Brandy this time and it's a change that just might stay.

I hope things pull trough for you soon. You're in my prayers. :prayer:

Studeclunker,

My heart just hurts hearing your story. It pains me, my dear brother.

It's so hard when God knows the outcome of things, and we don't. If we could just flip that tapestry over and see the picture, but we are stuck looking at just the knots here in this world.

But our Lord has many promises for us. His eye is on the sparrow...so how much more His eye is on you, dear Ron.

We will all keep praying for the answers you so seek. May God keep you in His loving care.

Seajoy,
Congrats on the grandniece, am prayting she gets to come home soon.
My little niece just got out of the NICU today (I thought that had happened sooner). She may get to come home tomorrow.

It's been very scary. We thank our Lord that her blood tests are now coming out normal.

Thanks for everyone's prayers.

How's the weather? Well, we are preparing for rounds 2 and 3. Suppose to get more snow, sleet, freezing rain, snow this week. There are still people in the state without power who are being told to get to shelters before the next round.

There were around 190,000 without power at one point last weekend. It is about half of that now.

Now, there is beauty in all this. Really made the scenery like a winter wonderland.

Right now the villiage of Lewiston looks like crystal gilded with silver. Just before the sun went down the temperature dropped fifteen or twenty degrees and it froze all the snow. It is beautiful. It's also a pain in the... um,wazoo.

I had to go to town to withdraw sufficient money for groceries and gas. Good news is that the 55 year old carb that I put in my truck has dramatically improved it's fuel economy and performance. Go figure. The bad news is that gas is 3.09 here in Lewiston. By Friday I'll be, well, in deeper.:sigh: :help:

It's been snowing all day, rather heavily. Guess what's coming your way kiddies?;) It was kind of fun driving around in it. No, (LOL) seriously! I put a blanket over the grille on the truck and it kept the engine nice and toasty. The truck is cold-blooded. I think Studebakers are reptiles. Anyway... Here's all these people running around in their hi-tech SUVs, sliding off the road (we had three go turtle in Lewiston this morning), spinning out, crashing into each other, and I just go putting by in my 45 year old Stude. Sometimes I roll the window down and give 'em the 'hang loose' (not that finger:o , the thumb and pinkie!), as they go roaring past. It's so beautiful here, year round, why hurry?
The problem came when I got home. Yes, you guessed it. The driveway designed by Lucifer Metastapholies. Fortuneately, another thing Studes do well is lugging. Just let it putt up the driveway and pray, pray, pray, whilst the wheels spin and slide around in the slush and mud. Sheesh!

But, um, it is pretty...

By the by, thank you all for your prayers. If anyone can pull my chestnuts out of the fire, it's got to be the Lord. I've no idea what to do. Thanks again.

Why don't you have chains for your tires, Stud? I only pulled mine out of my tahoe last week...mostly 'cause I forgot after getting back from New Mexico, but they make all the difference in snow and ice.

I guess you don't want to know about our 80 degree weather all this week then? ^_^ My lawn sure is getting green, but I also have a drainage system and retaining wall to get wrapped up before it gets too warm. At least you get a few more weeks break from yard work.

that's good! :o (but I don't think she wears a robe).

My hip and shoulder hurt so bad today...snowstorm coming!!!

Yeah the bad weather really brings out the injuries. Try some Thera-Gesic, it helps me a little. Stretching is also good if you can do it, but be careful.
