Princess Bride, I don't know what subluxation is but it doesn't sound fun! I do know about scoliosis as a friend of mine had it in jr. high and she wore a brace for a couple years.

I know what you mean about subluxation. I have that in several areas. Neck, lower back, herniated fifth Lumbar... The chiropractors send their kids to college on people like me.(LOL)

Hang in there. The treatment tapers off to just an adjustment or two a year, eventually. First of all they have to get you re-aligned.

Yup, my atlas and axis (top 2) have caused a progression leading to several others being out of place.

When those are out on me I have a very nasty headache. Are you having headaches? I prefered a neck adjustment to the heavy duty drugs when I got that headache.

No headaches. My lower back pops occasionally and I know I'm in deep doo doo. I usually lie down and ice the area. This deals with the swelling around the joint. Then I have exercises I have to do. Usually the next day though.

I have a strong back and a weak mind so I don't have to worry about back problems. Actually back problems run in my family. All the brothers, sisters and kids and in laws have problems. I'm the only one that doesn't. I use to sell and move pianos when I was young and played football so maybe that help in strengthening my back.

I took a break, yes. I'm coming back tenatively. I'm planning on staying here in the WELS, LCMS area, and the OCD forum. (I was requested to come back there to help out).

As some of you know, other parts of TCL and CF where really getting to be way too much for me, and I had trouble staying away from them in spite of it. I hope I don't sound like a nut for coming back after only 8 days or so, but I miss my friends. Please help me stay where it's best for me to be. After some reflection, with God's help, I'm returning.

I hope I don't sound like some type of drama queen. I just feel things very deeply, and I have to be careful.
