but why leave out your old church since the pastor left? that seems like an odd reason....

Something about being in between pastors and not knowing what's going to happen with the church.

that seems like a weird excuse...now is a time the church without a pastor needs the most support and by continueing to include the members, that would be happening...odd....

The pastor that just left this church I've been going to did his vicarage at the other church. They may be thinking on the lines about if the church gets another pastor soon, the pastor may not want to be involved with the other one, I think they just want to see what happens. I think it would be neat even if the youth in the circuit would get together to do something once a month.

even if a new pastor dies not want the ties as much, i would think right NOW, though, without a pastor, they would want to help now...

i hope that things improve a little and that the youth start doing more together -- i know from doing our youthgroup that it is hard enough to get the kids at ONE church together, let alone 2 or more! -- and the youth doing things together is a great step in keeping the churches doing other things together as well

Tiger had a good checkup. He's gained a pound and grew almost 1/2 inch since last month.

Tiger is on a medicine to be given at bedtime on an empty stomach. He's on another medicine this week that makes him constantly hungry.

Gotta love those medication mixtures, don't ya? Poor little guy.

Great news on his growth. Way to go, Tiger! Prayers for no medicine at all very soon.

Another 2 1/2 years to go--that's the protocol. It takes 3 1/2 years, on average, to treat boys. It's only another 3 days of steroids for this month. He's been hungry for oatmeal the last few days. Add in a growth spurt, and he's also not happy because the weather finally got warm here and he's not allowed to go to the swimming pool until next week. He fell down and conked his head on a rock this weekend. Blood all over, trip to ER, one staple in his scalp. Typical boy.

I hadn't been to that church I've been going to the last 2 sundays, someone finally called a little while ago and checked on me. Probably be going back Sunday to the one I went to this past sunday

Forgot to mention the president is doing the service sunday, still have a problem with that, the communion part anyway.
