Praise for the healing and progress of your family, Stude. We just never know what God has planned for us, right?
Glad everyone seems to be doing well and somewhat better with all the crud going around. We made it home and after sleeping for more hours than being awake, I feel somewhat normal again.
I'm pretty sure I had a cold after being in the heat and humidity of west Texas, but my hubby got the worst of it, managing to develop an ear infection. Of course, like most men, he refused to accept that something more serious than a cold might bothering him and was reluctant to call the doctor until I threatened to bring in the big guns, being our more determined, mature female neighbors who have known him for more than three decades. He was at the doc two hours later and is now feeling and behaving better. Thank God, because I was about to throttle him!
I think he's amused and grateful, but also mystified by the fact that it was so obvious to me he had some kind of infection. I keep telling him it's a mom thing and rarely wrong.
Prayers for all those of you still not 100%. Did you all have flu shots? We did, but I'm still a bit surprised at how bad the allergen levels in my home town. Believe it or not, I am very happy to be back in Britain and I truly, honestly missed what we are making into our family home here. We are blessed and sometimes it's hard to comprehend until seen from the outside looking in.

I think 2011 will be full of surprises. Let's pray they're mostly good ones.
