Bunch of kids.

I was born is 1960, whippersnappers!

Once upon a time I was even skinny, and I even had a semblance of hair on my head, and it wasn't gray!

Hmmph. No respect fer their elders, these infants. Now back in my day mumble mumble mumble......

Age is just mind over matter. If you don't mind, it don't matter.

My mom always says she would rather be over the hill than under it!

(and for the record, I was born in 1963, graduated in 1981, got married in 1991, and had my first child in 1993!)

......besides.....I hear senior discounts come in handy! :D

***running and ducking the frozen hash browned patties thrown my way.....****

Shut the door. I need the chill.

Just came from Interfaith Discussion, a.k.a. the "Bash the Catholics" forum....yeesh. Had to get away before I started answering people with a specific phrase composed of an adverb and a pronoun.

It's getting reeeeal close to "Rapture Ready" in there, friends........

This is why we have the Interfaith Forum - to focus controversy and arguments into one specific forum that we can moderate closely. This website is all about uniting Christians, both Protestant, Catholic and Non-Denominational alike. As such, it is unique from that perspective.

Btw, hello everyone!!! :D

Just dropping by blessing few members before going to bed.

God bless you all, and have a Blessed Easter! :priest:

Dr Loh,

With all due respect, sir, the "controversy and arguments" are more along the lines of "shredding the Catholic sacraments." When I reported a post where one member accused another of being a drunk, and drunks won't get into heaven, I received a note from the moderator saying, "I don't think it was judgment; he was just quoting something."

I speak for myself when I say I have tried to be patient, kind, loving, and understanding when I answer the same questions over and over and over and OVER, yet people won't let the dead horse stay dead. The nastiness just bubbles over and contaminates everything it touches.

Did you LOOK at the title to this thread? I created the FREEZER, where we have to come in here to cool off!

I have seen NO OTHER CHRISTIAN DENOMINATION take the abuse like Catholicism does here.

That grieves me. It should grieve you as well.

Peace be with you,
~VOW

Me thinks some members need to be in freezer as well(and a BIG one at that)

Sometimes they just can't let go.

I live in a Catholic country but i do not pester my friends when we disagree and we don't let it affect our frienship.

These things make me sad:( I wish we can live harmoniously together (and not let these petty things divide us)

:::Rushing past everyone, heading to the deepest, darkest, coldest parts of the freezer:::

Tttssssss!!!!!!!

Hmm. Much better. I'm really glad Baby is asleep right now. I don't ever want him to see me that mad. I do believe my blood went from ice to steam in 0.3 seconds.

Definitely time to call it a day. I think some therapeutic sewing will do me some good about now....

::KC pokes his head in and handing VOW and Avila a towel and a smile.

Time to rest, pray and reflect. We've let some things get the better of us, eh? Come on, give it up to Christ and seek his comfort.

No matter what our denomination, we are still part of the same family.

::Turning the freezer temp down 10 degrees and tip-toeing away.
