Plewase keep the flat earth accusation out of this in relation to this thread's statement that the Scriptures do not lie. The Scriptures state the earth is a globe, for the Hebrew word תבֵל /tebel means "globe"

1Sa 2:8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them.

Only ignorance of the Word itself would cause a person to state that the world is flat, and only willful ignorance of the Word itself causes a person to deny the Truth of Scripture that states the heavens circle the earth and that the sun rises and sets around the globe following its own peculiar path in the circle/heavens of the earth...

As to the corners of earth: you need to go to the Hebrew to discover the truth of it and stop interpreting based on translators mis-understandings:

Actually I have We have these things called telescopes. They let us look at them. The bigger the scope, the farther you can see.

Another thought based on one of my earlier posts about the Incredible Shrinking Man idea with actually a shrinking mind as in the shrunken head myths. The idea of the universe expanding could then prove possibly either or both of two things, one is that if the theory of relativity is true then, perhaps the universe is not expanding? I.e., is the perception of jumping up to touch the ceiling as another poster suggested, which makes sense, I have no argument.

The second is that if this is true then, I would expect a reversal when the New Jerusalem comes down upon the world. IMHO, I say this because of the image of the inverted Cross that I see in the prophecies when they describe a falling in metaphor. YSM mentioned electromagnetic forces and other things and I can see the parallel's such as the Polarity of the Mind, which is spirit. All of the seasons must be metaphors for possibly the thoughts of the upright mind that is guided by the Holy Spirit. It's complex and does have relevant truths but are symbolic to the actual mind of man, and this is the Image of the Father that He first Created in Genesis ch 1, and it are that which He first Created will be restored in the believing race of humans once he appears. The rest of all concerns will then be addressed in a new mind and the human race will change their lifestyle, for sure. All violations in earth and on earth and to the earth will seize when the Cross is risen again, and Upright in the mind of mankind.

We humans are the problem and are the one's responsible for our actions, and will need to dump what we are doing or else die in our sins, I suppose.

All of this should be modeled in the human head to see the Spiritual interpretations. The Cross is an interpreter of all things, it represents Christ and the whole Law.

So, this said, perhaps the "Incredible Shrinking Man" story is a mock of this reality, and the universe is not expanding but rather we are spiritually shrinking in intelligence, and knowledge of God? Thanks
