The Word of God declares that the earth is the center of the creation, and the heavens and earth are of a piece, and the heavens were stretched out from the earth on day 2 of creation week, between the divided in two waters of creation.
The early Church "Fathers" completely agree with the Word of God on the geocentric creation.

The Fathers on the Geocentric Cosmos
Scripture Catholic - GEOCENTRISM

Before there was a Church, Enoch the prophet, the seventh from Adam, wrote the book of cosmology revealing the paths of the sun, moon, and stars and how they bring in God's years from the beginning unto eternity in perfect justice, never changing and never deviating.

The Book of Enoch, Translated by Robert H. Charles, 1912
The Geocentric Calendar Book* (Chapters 72-82)
Time From Now Until the New Creation
72 The book of the courses of the luminaries of the heaven, the relations of each, according to their classes, their dominion and their seasons, according to their names and places of origin, and according to their months, which Uriel, the holy angel, who was with me, who is their guide, showed me; and he showed me all their laws exactly as they are, and how it is with regard to all the years of the world and unto eternity, till the new creation is accomplished which dureth till eternity.

The Portals of the Sun
2And this is the first law of the luminaries: the luminary the Sun has its rising in the eastern portals of the heaven, and its setting in the western portals of the heaven.
3And I saw six portals in which the sun rises, and six portals in which the sun sets: and the moon rises and sets in these portals, and the leaders of the stars and those whom they lead: six in the east and six in the west, and all following each other in accurately corresponding order: also many windows to the right and left of these portals.
4And first there goes forth the great luminary, named the Sun, and his circumference is like the circumference of the heaven, and he is quite filled with illuminating and heating fire. 5The chariot on which he ascends, the wind drives, and the sun goes down from the heaven and returns through the north in order to reach the east, and is so guided that he comes to that portal and shines in the face of the heaven. 6In this way he rises in the first month in the great portal, which is the fourth those six portals in the east. 7And in that fourth portal from which the sun rises in the first month are twelve window-openings, from which proceed a flame when they are opened in their season. 8When the sun rises in the heaven, he comes forth through that fourth portal thirty mornings in succession, and sets accurately in the fourth portal in the west of the heaven. 9And during this period the day becomes daily longer and the night nightly shorter to the thirtieth morning. 10On that day the day is longer than the night by a ninth part, and the day amounts exactly to ten parts and the night to eight parts. 11And the sun rises from that fourth portal, and sets in the fourth and returns to the fifth portal of the east thirty mornings, and rises from it and sets in the fifth portal. 12And then the day becomes longer by two parts and amounts to eleven parts, and the night becomes shorter and amounts to seven parts. 13And it returns to the east and enters into the sixth portal, and rises and sets in the sixth portal one-and-thirty mornings on account of its sign. 14On that day the day becomes longer than the night, and the day becomes double the night, and the day becomes twelve parts, and the night is shortened and becomes six parts. 15And the sun mounts up to make the day shorter and the night longer, and the sun returns to the east and enters into the sixth portal, and rises from it and sets thirty mornings. 16And when thirty mornings are accomplished, the day decreases by exactly one part, and becomes eleven parts, and the night seven. 17And the sun goes forth from that sixth portal in the west, and goes to the east and rises in the fifth portal for thirty mornings, and sets in the west again in the fifth western portal. 18On that day the day decreases by two parts, and amounts to ten parts and the night to eight parts. 19And the sun goes forth from that fifth portal and sets in the fifth portal of the west, and rises in the fourth portal for one-and-thirty mornings on account of its sign, and sets in the west. 20On that day the day is equalized with the night, and becomes of equal length, and the night amounts to nine parts and the day to nine parts. 21And the sun rises from that portal and sets in the west, and returns to the east and rises thirty mornings in the third portal and sets in the west in the third portal. 22And on that day the night becomes longer than the day, and night becomes longer than night, and day shorter than day till the thirtieth morning, and the night amounts exactly to ten parts and the day to eight parts. 23And the sun rises from that third portal and sets in the third portal in the west and returns to the east, and for thirty mornings rises in the second portal in the east, and in like manner sets in the second portal in the west of the heaven. 24And on that day the night amounts to eleven parts and the day to seven parts. 25And the sun rises on that day from that second portal and sets in the west in the second portal, and returns to the east into the first portal for one-and-thirty mornings, and sets in the first portal in the west of the heaven. 26And on that day the night becomes longer and amounts to the double of the day: and the night amounts exactly to twelve parts and the day to six. 27And the sun has therewith traversed the divisions of his orbit and turns again on those divisions of his orbit, and enters that portal thirty mornings and sets also in the west opposite to it. 28And on that night has the night decreased in length by a ninth part, and the night has become eleven parts and the day seven parts. 29And the sun has returned and entered into the second portal in the east, and returns on those his divisions of his orbit for thirty mornings, rising and setting. 30And on that day the night decreases in length, and the night amounts to ten parts and the day to eight. 31And on that day the sun rises from that portal, and sets in the west, and returns to the east, and rises in the third portal for one-and-thirty mornings, and sets in the west of the heaven. 32On that day the night decreases and amounts to nine parts, and the day to nine parts, and the night is equal to the day and the year is exactly as to its days three hundred and sixty-four. 33And the length of the day and of the night, and the shortness of the day and of the night arise- through the course of the sun these distinctions are made. 34So it comes that its course becomes daily longer, and its course nightly shorter. 35And this is the law and the course of the sun, and his return as often as he returns sixty times and rises, that is the great luminary which is named the sun, for ever and ever. 36And that which thus rises is the great luminary, and is so named according to its appearance, according as the Lord commanded. 37As he rises, so he sets and decreases not, and rests not, but runs day and night, and his light is sevenfold brighter than that of the moon; but as regards size they are both equal.

The Portals of the Moon
73 And after this law I saw another law dealing with the smaller luminary, which is named the Moon....

The OP does not quote scripture so does not work with the title of the thread.

And because of the "kind of thread this is" - I know this will come in handy -

God is a 100% accurate communicator. He knows how to tell the truth even when the writer does not fully understand what the message means. Daniel expressed this several times in his writing - where he is writing what God says to write even though he himself does not understand it fully.

Instead of Daniel mashing and munging the message to turn it into something he would expect/understand - he gives it just the way God said to do it .. this is what all Bible writers did.

That means if you don't like what it written your problem is with God - not the writer.

What is more - Einstein confirms that motion can accurately be described in terms of the frame of reference of the viewer as long as acceleration is taken into account. So you can say "the sun rises in the east and sets in the west" in your frame of reference even though what is actually happening is the earth is rotating.

Man is the "crown" of creation, created last of all things and summarizing the spiritual (heavenlies) and physical (earth) creation to act as priest. As earth is his habitation, willed by God, and more importantly the location of the incarnation of the Logos (for God so loved the cosmos that He gave His only begotten Son ...) then in this sense the earth is a center regardless of its physical location.

Christ is risen !

Enoch spoke these words in a symbolic nature that parallels with the human mind/spirit, the first that was created in the first chapter of Genesis.

This is continually unfolding to me as I see this imagery coming to greater light. The first three commandments pertain to the head of the man , (parallel with earth) who became flesh on day-6. If you will, I have noticed that the first three chapters of Genesis are a parallel to the first three commandments such as the first chapter is the creation of Spirit, and two is the creation of flesh, and the third the creation of the Holy Spirit that comes as the Fruit of the first two.

There may even be a parallel of all ten commandments with the first 10 chapters of Genesis, I haven't yet examined the last seven after the first three but I definitely see a parallel in the first three.

The Creation story is also seen in the Image of the Cross with the ten commandments written in the Cross as it is written in us (man). That man who was created on day-6 also became the Lord of the Sabbath by covenant but the world insists that it's only pointing to Jesus Christ who came to earth thousands of years afterwards to re-establish exactly what I'm describing and also to wash away our sins if we believe.

This is just a spec of the details so you will have to do some homework on this if you care. I can't force people to believe but I can post facts for them to consider. Thanks to all :)

I remember looking into literal Geocentrism.
Unconvinced on the literal interpretation of it.
It really does not matter if you are not convinced by sources outside Scripture, as to this thread, but the Scriptures, themselves, do not lie:), and the sun revolves and rotates and follows its own ordained paths in the heavens circling the earth, coming out of 6 different gates/portals ordained by God's electromagnetic forces, for the months and the seasons [that fact, can be scientifically observed].
The portal for the sun's coming out at the beginning of the year is the 4th, and when it enters that portal in its rising, the days are equal -the spring equinox in as it is observed from Jerusalem, which point of the earth is the "center of the earth"=the navel of its "birth"!- as the Word of God states; and the moon follows the same paths as the sun, for they have "an oath" between them, which sets them on the same course in the heavens, circling the earth, only the moon falls behind the sun, as Enoch wrote of, a certain number of days in a certain number of years, before coming back to the same starting point again....

The earth does not spin, revolve, rotate or tilt, but is fixed in its ordained place in the center of the heavens which were outstretched from it, on day 2 of creation week, between the divided in two waters of creation.

When Joshua commanded the sun and moon to stand still, they stood still and the sun then, did not set for two days -about exactly two days not setting.

The earth was not moving from the beginning, and only the sun, moon, and stars move in the circle of the earth =the heavens.
Joshua 10

11 And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the Lord cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.
12 Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.
13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
14 And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the Lord hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the Lord fought for Israel.

The sun went backwards "ten degrees". The earth did not move.
2Ki 20:9 And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?
...
2Ki 20:11 And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.

The Scriptures do not lie!
You can try to prove they lie as to the geocentric creation, and have discussion on it -or ignore the Scriptures, but not ignore them for this thread, please.

Christ is risen !

He is risen indeed!
But the Scriptures state that Adam was even placed in God's Holy Mount Eden above, in the third heaven, to tend and "guard/Shamar" Paradise, from which he was cast down to the earth when he became defiled and an unfit temple for the Glory and all the stones/eben for building/banah the temple not made with hands -the "ben Adam" to come forth from his loins, died in the loins of father Adam, son of God in his creation but cut off and dead in spirit, fallen, ruined vessel not fit to build up the "Temple not made with hands for the "Unseen Glory" to dwell in.

The Redeemer/Kinsman is come, and He has cleansed whosoever will hear and receive the Gospel and act upon it, and by that, become adopted sons of the Firstborn Son of God who is to build the temple not made with hands by His adopted sons/ben being the stones/eben for building/banah that temple for the Glory

The Old Testament is one of those things where you can be assured that events are based in truth, but due to a lower level of literacy and basic understanding of science some events might be slightly misportrayed or misunderstood by those who were writing them. Many Christians do not take Genesis literally for instance, the events surely happened but we are not united on interpretation of these events.

Another clue....
@ the underlined: the 'ten degrees' is a metaphor for the ten commandments. It's an 'Image' that YHWH Created FIRST for the man, and of course the earth didn't move but the mind of man flips inverted or is upright as the Cross.

What exactly defines the central point of infinity?
Good question!

IMHO, of the imagery that I see in parallel with the Cross as the Image, the two beams of the Cross intersect at the 4th commandment, and this is the center of mental/spiritual gravity, possibly the meaning of geocentric. The All Seeing Eye resides in this intersection as it are the Cross-roads of the Four Corners. The single Eye sees in all directions, and this is for both the natural and the supernatural realm of man's mind; the vertical beam represents the Spiritual realm and the ten commandments/Law, while the horizontal beam represents the carnal nature of man and the natural/physical realm. The Center is infinity as it may see into the past and into the future of both realms. Thanks :)

The infinite also stretches into the dimension of the infinitesimal for sure.

This to me seems to be the proper theological response, and is the kind of response that scripture ought to lead us to.

It is our nature that we not only see the sun revolving around the earth, from our own perspective, but from that perspective, we cannot help but experience the entire universe revolving around us.

To the extent that God inhabits in our hearts, this is not just an illusion of perspective, but it is the God honest truth.
