How about the Commandments of Exodus 34:12-26?

Keep those also?

Exodus 34

12 Be careful not to make a treaty with those who live in the land where you are going, or they will be a snare among you. 13 Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and cut down their Asherah poles. 14 Do not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

15 “Be careful not to make a treaty with those who live in the land; for when they prostitute themselves to their gods and sacrifice to them, they will invite you and you will eat their sacrifices. 16 And when you choose some of their daughters as wives for your sons and those daughters prostitute themselves to their gods, they will lead your sons to do the same.

17 “Do not make any idols.

18 “Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread. For seven days eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you. Do this at the appointed time in the month of Aviv, for in that month you came out of Egypt.

19 “The first offspring of every womb belongs to me, including all the firstborn males of your livestock, whether from herd or flock. 20 Redeem the firstborn donkey with a lamb, but if you do not redeem it, break its neck. Redeem all your firstborn sons.

“No one is to appear before me empty-handed.

21 “Six days you shall labor, but on the seventh day you shall rest; even during the plowing season and harvest you must rest.

22 “Celebrate the Festival of Weeks with the firstfruits of the wheat harvest, and the Festival of Ingathering at the turn of the year. 23 Three times a year all your men are to appear before the Sovereign Lord, the God of Israel. 24 I will drive out nations before you and enlarge your territory, and no one will covet your land when you go up three times each year to appear before the Lord your God.

25 “Do not offer the blood of a sacrifice to me along with anything containing yeast, and do not let any of the sacrifice from the Passover Festival remain until morning.

26 “Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the Lord your God.

“Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.”

I think that's a good idea, to discuss specific laws.

I forgot about this one,
"Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.”

If we say that the law can be divided into Mosaic shadow and universal law, which category would that end up in?

The weekly seventh day Sabbath is not a shadow of anything it points to creation Genesis 2:1-3 "Remember" the Sabbath is a memorial of Creation why would we want to forget that?
Yup

Most agree to the other nine
But seventh day Sabbath has become a stumbling block by the old man of sin
And no wonder
It's the only commandment that refers to creation.

Deut 5:22 "God spoke the TEN Commandments.. and added no more"

The summary Moses gives 40 years after Sinai is that the TEN spoken in Ex 20 from the cloud on the mountain were the only things spoken directly to the people and the only commands on stone, and the only commands inside the Ark of the Covenant.

Moses was not asking the readers to delete all others - but one thing is for sure downsizing-those-TEN is not an option.

Exodus 34:12-26

Contained in the 1st commandment

You shall have no other God's before me. 2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven images.

The ceremonial laws/feasts and sabbaths (not the 7th) associated with the temple system was done away with at the cross (nailed to the cross) when Jesus was sacrificed ... He was the only valid sacrifice... and His sacrifice was for all time. After the death and resurrection of Jesus there was/is no need for earthly temple systems .... Jesus became our high priest and He ministers from the temple in heaven. Jesus fulfilled everything needed and through Him is the pathway for mankind back to God

The purpose of the earthly temple system was pointing to the savior to come .... Jesus .... it helps us understand how salvation is possible through Jesus and Him alone.

Hebrews 10:4-10 (ESV)

For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. Consequently, when Christ came into the world, he said, “Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but a body have you prepared for me; in burnt offerings and sin offerings you have taken no pleasure. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God, as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.’” When he said above, “You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the law), then he added, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second. And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
