How is doing what the God of the Bible claims is His will Psa 40:8 Exo 31:18 and love to Him 1 John 5:3 Exo 20:6 John 14:15 John 15:10 adding our 2 cents?

This reminds me of an ex-boyfriend I had. He would do so much for me, he would do everything except for what i asked and than he would tell me how much he does for me. We can do the same thing with God, do all these things for Him, claim it is His will, yet what He asks and tells us is His will, well that's too much but I do all these other things....

It’s not until man adds to the absolute simplicity of it. Some even went as far as creating a new religion. Something else Jesus had no use for, contending with them constantly. Scripture yes, religion no.

Yes. It went from us obeying because we have too by being ordered by an outside source, the Bible or some man and his position. To us doing because of who we are in Christ and His Spirit. But there is so much more than just the Decalogue being internalized. It is God through Christ. We now live , move and have our being through God. It is He that works in us BOTH to will and do His Good pleasure. He in us, us in Him that the world might believe.

Yes we are children of our Father and it is time to get past our rebellious teenage phase and start going out and acting in the ways He commanded us to carry on the Fatherly business, servitude to Him and each other in need. But of course the selfish and immature will never grow up. They think they are trend setters and elites, yet never solving the worlds problems, but only creating them. Foolishly trying to fix using the same methods that broke in the first place. Unfit to inherit the Kingdom.
