See? Shut to truth. That's never been my claim, ever. A twist of facts. False witness.

According to God's WORD the scriptures teach many will only see and hear what they want to see and hear if they do not want to follow God's WORD *MATTHEW 13:13-15. PAUL quoted the same scriptures in ACTS 28:25-27.

    God bless

If you want to observe the Sabbath as per the Mosaic Law, I hope you're ready to not leave your house on Sabbath (Exodus 16:29) and to stone other Christians to death for not keeping Sabbath (Exodus 35:2-5)

You are confused. Please show me where it says in God's 4th commandment that you are not to leave your house and to stone anyone to death for not keeping the Sabbath in the NEW COVENANT?

Here let me post God's 4th commandment for you...

EXODUS 20:8-11 [8], REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY, TO KEEP IT HOLY [Made Holy at creation GENESIS 2:3]. [9], Six days shall you labor, and do all your work: [10], But THE SEVENTH DAY [ Genesis 2:1-3] IS THE SABBATH OF THE LORD YOUR GOD : in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates: [WHY?] [11], FOR IN SIX DAYS THE LORD MADE HEAVEN AND EARTH, THE SEA, AND ALL THAT IS IN THEM IS, AND RESTED THE SEVENTH DAY; WHEREFORE THE LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH DAY AND MADE IT HOLY. [Refering to GENESIS 2:1-3]

Nope! Nothing about staying home on the Sabbath and nothing about stoning anyone in the NEW TESTAMENT either.

    Hope this helps.

I agree. Note, the people you are arguing with are the same people who argue most of the time about Sola Scriptura yet they are not following Scripture alone as you have shown and explained.

Hi brother Cis.jd, yes thank for your post. What I find sad is that many will will find out when it is too late what they have missed out on by not seeking JESUS through BELIEVING and FOLLOWING all the Word of God. JESUS says that it is ONLY as we continue BELIEVING and FOLLOWING ALL of the Word of God through his Spirit that we are his disciples *JOHN 8:31-36; JOHN 14:26. My prayer is that we all may be there.

    God bless.

I agree. I just don't understand why they are claiming to be scripture alone when they don't follow the scriptures as you've pointed out. And i don't get why they've been negative about Catholic teachings when they have been following it through the sunday worship. Why do you think that?

Why don’t you just explain for us, from the scriptures, how Jesus taught the Church to observe the Sabbath under the New Covenant.

That way we can all know, exactly what you mean, and know one will misunderstand your doctrine.

Do you mean "no one" ? Yet that is not what Scripture says - Scripture says most people will reject Jesus, remember ? They are offended by Him (the world is, they hate Him).
Why did you say "your doctrine" ? It is not my doctrine.

To answer your question, for those who want to know,
What is the best way to teach anyone anything ?
By example. Do what Jesus does. Do what the Father says to DO.

(for those who have ears to hear; as Jesus said clearly "MY Sheep know My voice. They will not listen to another. " Right? )

Another way people learn - from watching the bad examples - from the bad examples being brought out into the LIGHT , revealed by God's Word.
See what happens (for those who have eyes to see), when people go away from Scripture. (it is not good, not edifying, not Godly lives they live) .

Another way people may learn, Yahweh willing.

Jesus PRAISED YAHWEH (ABBA ELOHIM) (God) -
    "Praise You ABBA (Father)

    for revealing salvation to little children , and everything concerning salvation in this life and the life to come;

    and for hiding it from educated ones;

for thus it is Your Good Pleasure So To DO! "

Always, always, always in perfect harmony with all of His Word.

So then, why do people reject God's Word ? Those reasons are all detailed in God's Word. A "little child" can understand clearly.
    "A little child shall lead..."

The scholars/ educated ones ? See what God Says about those ones, and about man's wisdom and knowledge and ways.

In Matthew 18:3, we read about how Jesus characterized conversion, which pictures faith as the helpless, trusting, dependence of those who have no resources of their own. Little children have no achievements or accomplishments to offer or commend themselves with.

Jesus is pointing to the need to have this same type of faith that little children exhibit. They are the most trusting people in the world and have not acquired the obstructions to faith that come with advanced education and exposure to the philosophies of men.

Christ calls us to have the same kind of faith/trust/reliance that little children naturally have. People must become as little children in humbly recognizing their helplessness in attaining the kingdom in their own merits. We are 100% dependent on Jesus Christ to save us. His finished work of redemption is sufficient and complete to save believers. No supplements needed. (Romans 3:24-28)

1 Corinthians 1:21 - For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.

Still, requirements/instructions/ for the walk and life of Ekklesia. "Works" or "Tasks" prepared for Ekklesia to do, for everyone born again,
prepared as written , planned by Yahweh BEFORE Creating the universe.

Of course there are instructions for our Christian walk after having been saved through faith. Ephesians 2:10 - For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto/for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. We are saved UNTO/FOR good works, but NOT BY good works (Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5; 2 Timothy 1:9). We are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Romans 3:24). There are no amount of works that we could accomplish and "add" as a supplement to Christ's finished work of redemption in order to help Christ save us, as if His finished work of redemption is insufficient to save believers. That's what I meant by "no supplements needed."

Please share with us from the scriptures how Paul taught the Church to observe the Sabbath, so we all can benefit from his teaching.

Then why don’t you teach us how you observe the Sabbath.

    Thanks. JLB

    Hello brother Cis.jd,

This is a very good question. God's WORD makes it very clear. Only God knows the heart * JEREMIAH 17:9-10; PROVERBS 15:11; JEREMIAH 20:12; . We do not know the hearts of others and is why we cannot judge anyone accept as it is revealed through the scriptures. We can know God's WORD as revealed through God's Spirit *JOHN 14:26 only as we continue believing, growing and following in God's WORD *JOHN 8:31. We can know if someone is not following God's WORD as the WORD is revealed to us *MATTHEW 7:15-20.

Judging righteous judgment is making judgments that are righteous according to the Word of God as only God's WORD is righteous. Only God's WORD is true and we should believe and follow it *ROMANS 3:4; Anyone claiming to follow God's WORD while knowingly breaking any one of his commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him *1 JOHN 2:3-4. God's WORD says these LOVE darkness rather than LIGHT (truth) because their deeds were evil *JOHN 3:19

It is true brother, they are following the MOTHER Church and they do not know it.

    God bless.
