We want to allow fellowship here with liberals, but not discussions on theology?

That's about right.... We did not want the unity of our beliefs, but unity in fellowship of stopping the hating and arguing....does that make more sense...

I will tell you something a Liberal said to me a couple of months ago. At the time I said it was not true and it really made me mad.

That person said that if we ever stopped having an enemy (the Liberals), we would start turning on each other.

yes it does.
I am trying to find out why this happening, and i'm racking my brain as to what it is. I could only come up with people wanting to bring the 2 groups together - that seems like the only key to this problem.

Anyone who's been following my posts can see that I've been trying constructively to find solutions & sources & try to bypass the assaults --
I knew this would happen if i made a thread.

I'm just thinking our area has become the hot bed of activity and everyone wants to be in on it. Whether it's good or bad, maybe things will die down and we can get to the heart of the matter and see people for who they are.

Jim, for real now, I agree with you, my issue wasn't with Belinda's beliefs... or what they agree to when they sign up -
my concern was always a foot in the door to toleration of the liberalism as more would come in; turning it into a melting pot and then chaos would ensue...
I've just seen it before in another ministry and that's why I was so firm on what I was saying.
it's becuz I SAW a ministry fold up when that happened.

Now you know why I'm so concerned. I'm not trying to be a divisive hatemonger - if I didn't speak up, I'd be guilty in my own conscience.

With that said, I think I'm done trying to figure this out. Clearly it's not helping and I don't feel I should continue.

Nadiine, all I can say is if we see theological liberalism bleeding into CC, we'll snap it back *fast*.

Not willing to compromise on that on any level. But the *people*... well, that's a different matter

Did you see my post on the spiritual warfare going on in the forum? Demons as pernicious as Dissention are best removed by prayer and fasting followed by rebuke in Jesus' name.

ETA: I just realized this might come off as insensitive, given what you said about not being able to eat. It wasn't my intention. I had the thought for the post in my head before I read that post.
