Question: Who ministered the filling of the Holy Spirit to the Apostle Paul?
Was it not Ananias? He was not an Apostle with a capital "A". How does that fit with what you are saying?
Jesus appeared to him and commissioned him for the job. He was an apostle, supposedly one of the 70 originals.

Oh, I see. When you said apostles I was thinking you meant the 12.
When did the commissioning of apostles stop in your perspective?
Didn't the 70 commission more to continue the work? And so on, and so on...

An apostle had to be an eye witness of Christ's resurrection.

Thanks.
Is not the Body of Christ incomplete without apostles?

1 Corinthians 12:27-29
Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 28 And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles?

Ephesians 4:11-13
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

We have them in scripture along with their writings.

What church do you think has apostles?

Jesus told His Apostles that the Holy Spirit was beside them, but to tarry and wait to receive Him coming into them!
Pentecost wasn't about being born again, but about the sons and daughters of God receiving power to continue the work Jesus did.

Acts1v8But you will receive power, the Holy Spirit having come upon you, and you will be witnesses for Me, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth.”

The OT believers in the coming Messiah were saved due to the Cross of Christ, just as we are now, but were regenerated and had their sins remitted, but were not sealed and indwelt by the Holy Spirit as we now are!
Regeneration is being made alive by the Holy Spirit.

I think all churches should.
An apostle is a "sent out one".
Does your church support church planting missionaries?
Myself i cant see how real apostles would start thousands of different denominations that cannot agree on what is and isnt sound doctrine. If their teachers cant agree with each other how can they all be called by God?

That seems like a gross overstatement to me.
Most denominations center their beliefs around the Creeds.

They also have much disagreement. Does that come from God? Did He call us to be in disagreement? Why arent modern apostles fixing this problem?

Also receiving the New Covenant scriptures through tongues and prophecy.

The Holy Spirit now indwells and infills all Christians, correct?

Regeneration is being made alive by the Holy Spirit.
One can be regerated and not be indwelt yet by the Holy Spirit though! Romans 3:25 describes the status of the OT relationship for the believers!

The Bible stated that unsaved ONLY had demons in them, but they were cast out and then person got saved!
That comes entirely out of your own muddled head, not the bible.
I have already shown in the gospels where a "daughter of Abraham" ie. a saint, a believer, had demons cast out.
But you have no interest in what any scriptures say, once they contradict your tradition.
And the time of the ministry of jesus and Acts was a unique historical time, as satan and demonic really focused on that time,
as they knew Messiah had now come,
Ignorant drivel from someone who wouldn't know a demon if it bit him on the nose.
Do you imagine Satan somehow disappears on long holidays between the main events of eschatology?
Satan has never ceased attacking the saints to try and draw them away from the Lord.
and The scriptures well us that right before His second coming event, Satan and demons will be once again really getting riled up! To go against Christians as in false doctrines and theology,
Doctrines of demons have been around since the Garden of Eden.
NOT as in possessions!
For someone who claims to be bible literate, you ought to know that "possession" is never used in the bible in reference to demons. But I have pointed this out several times before.

Romans3v25 doesn't say anyone can be regenerated and not indwelt by the spirit.

Jesus described the unregenerate Pharisees as sons of the devil.

In contrast he described the regenerate, believing Jews as sons of their Father in heaven.

Nobody can be a son of anyone, unless he has his father's DNA within. The DNA of God is the Holy Spirit.

All born again believers have the Holy Spirit within.
But that is not the same as being filled or baptised in the Holy Spirit and power as witnessed in Acts.

We know the 120 were baptised in the Holy Spirit and power at Pentecost.
But they were also filled again here.-
Acts4v29And now, Lord, look upon their threats, and grant to Your servants to speak Your word with all boldness, 30in that You stretch out Your hand for healing and signs and wonders to take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.” 31And they having prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and were speaking the word of God with boldness.

The Holy Spirit will always fill and empower the believers who ask for it, and it obviously won't happen to those who reject it.

Eph5v18Stop getting drunk with wine, which leads to wild living, but keep on being filled with the Spirit.
Just as a drunkard will hit the bottle constantly, we are called to drink of God's spirit constantly. That is our free choice.

Mueller had the gift of faith from God to trust the Lord to do as he did for His Orphanage, as God gave Him that special gift for that special task, but was not given to everyone!
And Spurgeon NEVER would have seen anything as equal to the scriptures for teaching and preaching and the revelation from God to us!
Who so ever believes..he shall ask what he will and i will do it..
In conjunction with being in jesus and he in us we shall ask as we will being that our will is laid down to his will and he will do it.

We live as George
Muller also.
Trusting God to provide.
We ask no man for means .we solicit no man for funds. We pray.
God provides. We seek his kingdom first.

Your promoting unbelief.
You by your preferred doctrines and traditions make the word of God of non effect.
