My comment: Simple! He created sky, earth and all the creatures including u and myself so perfectly. Your heart is beating because of his blessings. We are debating over this topic because of the knowledge that he gave to us. I know him 95%. I said he is not known/understood for the remaining 5%. You tell me if not God, who else can do this.
Sure it will, if you claim he's omnibenevolent, but allows suffering, then we know your god is not actually omnibenevolent. That increases our understanding and can disprove some interpretations of god.
My comment: Out of 100, only 5 people are suffering. I have also suffered before knowing god around 3 months back. I understand him through my suffering. Otherwise, I could have completely forgotten him. Remaining 5 people out of 100 will also receive God blessings if they believe in him. Even if they are not free from those problems in this earthly life, eternity is ensured for them if they believe him
That's a testable claim, and one that has been disproven. There have been plenty of terminal cancer patients with people faithfully praying over them, and they don't get any better.
My comment: Pls re-read above. We can't blame God because of those 5 among 100. And I can say that many have been recovered.
That's a convenient way of giving credit to god when things go your way, and deflecting responsibility from god when things don't go your way. God can't possibly lose with that mindset.
My comment : have u ever come across any struggle in ur life through which u got benefited eventually? Those who are suffering with problems should talk to god and ask god why are they suffering. Then god not only answer them but also heals them.
I have seen plenty of people abandon their beliefs in god, virtually every atheist on this forum falls into that category.
My comment: That is sad part of the story! You can leave your father when you don't receive your gift. But you will come back to him because u will suffer more and you realize your father is still with you
