So we can equate Gods laws to man's laws in this regard?look back at all the laws humans ever made apart from God and all the wars they caused and that is your answer. usually powered and motivated by money, and money, and money is the root of all evil.
1 Corinthians 15:55-56
It is important to read the whole verse, along with the verse before and the one after. As I see it, Paul is saying here (as elsewhere) that the law makes us aware of our sin, which leads to death...but that Christ has overcome death (and therefore sin), do that death has no sting or victory.

Yes. I have a grandson. When he reached the age of two, I gave him some: thou shalt nots..
Because the Law says "Thou Shalt Not"
It is within man's sinful nature to break Law.
Rom. 8:7
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Rom. 4:15
Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
1Jn. 3:4
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
.Yes. I have a grandson. When he reached the age of two, I gave him some: thou shalt nots.
Thou shalt not go into my computer room and touch the TV, computer or telephone in there. As soon as he was told this, if he could sneak away without being seen, I would inevitably find him in my computer room, touching one of the: Thou shalt nots
This I hadn't heard before. Would you please verify it with the Bible? Thanks.God came to Abraham offering Grace to the Hebrew folk as a people group. Abraham would lead them to the Promised Land. They rejected the plan.

God came to Moses offering not Grace but Law. The Law was impossible to comply with. God was showing the Hebrew folk their blunder in not accepting Grace.
God came to all of us as Jesus, restoring Grace for Jew and Gentile alike through / by the Cross. No more night, no more pain, no more fear, never striving again. Salvation by Grace through Faith, no strings, Romans 10:8-13. Just confess that and you are home free.
Can we elaborate a little, and say the power of sin would be the law of sin and death? The first question should be: which law he was referring to?
Romans 7:8 But sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of covetousness. For apart from the law, sin lies dead.
In Romans 7:21-25, Paul said he delighted in obeying God's Law that he served with his mind, but contrasted that with the law of sin that held him captive and that he served with his flesh. Paul spoke about wanting to do good, but that this law of sin was waging war within him and causing him not to do the good the he wanted to do. In other words, Paul would have no trouble doing the good that God's Law instructs if it were not for the law of sin producing all kinds of sin in him, so apart from the law of sin, sin lies dead. So 1 Corinthians 15:56 is clearly referring to the law of sin being the power of sin.
God was gracious, indeed (Genesis 12) in offering the Promised Land (a return to the glory and wonder of the Garden of Eden for a chosen GROUP of people) --- the Path to the Promised Land was laid out before Abram, who became Abraham. The Chosen People drifted away from following Abraham, stepping outside of God's umbrella of Grace. The result was the implementation of Mosaic Law.This I hadn't heard before. Would you please verify it with the Bible? Thanks.
God does not act in opposition to anything He brings forth.Do you really believe that God was acting in opposition to His grace when He gave the Law to Moses? Can a house divided against itself stand? According to Psalms 119:29, David asked God to show his grace to him by teaching him to obey His Law. According to Titus 2:11-14, our salvation involves being trained by grace to do what is godly, righteous, and good, and to refrain from doing what is ungodly and sinful, which is an accurate description of what God's Law was given to instruct how to do. According to John 1:16-17, grace was added upon grace, so the grace of Christ was added upon the grace of the Law. According to Romans 1:5, we have received grace in order to bring about the obedience that faith requires. According to Jude 1:4, the ungodly pervert God's grace into a licence to sin, and sin is the transgression of God's Law (1 John 3:4). According to Strong's, "grace" is defined as "the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life" and when God's will is reflected in our lives it takes the form of obedience to His laws. So God's Law is not in opposition to His grace, but rather it is an extension of His grace, and is is by God's grace through faith that we are being trained in how to rightly live. According to Deuteronomy 30:11-14, what God commanded was not too difficult, but that His word is near us, in our mouths and in our heart so that we can obey it, and Romans 10:6-13 quotes that passage in regard to what our faith says and in regard to what it means to submit to Jesus as Lord, so the ideas that God's grace is opposed to God's Law and that it is impossible to obey God's Law are completely false.

.You quoted to me, a verse from rom7:14-24
In those verses Paul states:
The law is spiritual, but I am unspiritual sold as a slave to sin/ breaking Gods laws
Verse14
If Gods laws are not difficult to obey, why is Paul a slave of breaking them?
For I have the desire to do what is good but i cannot carry it out
Verse18
So Paul has the desire to obey Gods laws but cannot.
Again, if Gods laws are easy to obey, why can Paul not obey them?
I do not understand what I do, for what I want to do I do not, but what I hate i do verse15
Once again, why can Paul not obey Gods laws if they are easy to obey?
For what I do is not the good I want to do, no, the evil i do not want to do, this I keep on doing
Verse19
The whole section relates to Paul being a slave if sin/ breaking Gods laws.
He wants to obey them but he cannot obey them.
So once again. If Gods laws are easy to obey, why is Paul sold as a slave to breaking them?
.
What is it that makes Paul a slave to sin?[/QUOTE
