((Ooooooooohhhhhh! Right, Right. Well, I guess that would be alright. However, I'm not quite sure I understand why she can't just transform into her humanoid form and get ready to fight....like us NORMAL people . j/k!))

For those of you asking, I say that all the time in real life, so that is what I will probably type when I'm on the internet: Oui, Oui!))

Tenkana looked ahead at the danger Kuillia had seen. Oh, boy. "Would you happen to know anything about this Zalika?" He asked.

 

[Paladin Dave]

"Let me down!!!" Vili cried in terror. The last thing he wanted to do was be carried around in the middle of an ariel battle.

 

[Lessien]

"Unfortunately, no," Zalika said.

 

[Ellesar]

Kayden looked ahead and had the same reaction as Vili, but she didn't say anything. Her breathing became faster as she looked in the direction they were flying.

 

[Soldier_For_Christ]

Tenkana drew his sword, his fears confirmed. "Well, if anyone wants to not fight this fight, I suggest you back out now." He said, hoping that no one that could fight wouldn't.

((ChesireCat, perhaps it would be good to have you temporarily play the part of the guards. I just think that it would be interesting to hear the fight from their perspective.

((I don't want to have to drop Vili... I'm going to fight with just my beak. It's a small handicap for the guards ;D ))

"Well, I've always heard that the Citadel was xenophobic," Kuillia replied Tenkana, "but wyrms! My goodness! And Vili, I can't possibly drop you without fracturing at least half your ribs, if you're blessed. I think this is one fight we will have to fight... Vili, whatever slashing about you do, don't cut my claws off! Are we ready?"

 

[Soldier_For_Christ]

"Let us be catious. And nobody do anything dumb." He said and then charged ahead of the pack, his sword presented in front of him.

 

[shernren]

"Look who's talking," Kuillia muttered under his breath, and rushed to stay behind Tenkana at the distance he already was. If he left Tenkana alone, the guards would probably finish Tenkana and come at him next. So better give backup - but all the same, he'd rather not be the first person to engage combat...

((haha.))

 

[Paladin Dave]

"Blodik save us all!!!" Vili cried in terror as he held onto Kullia's talon with one arm and his warhammer with the other, ready to help if needed.

 

[Soldier_For_Christ]

Tenkana slowed to a stop and spoke loudly to the Guards, "Greetings, men. We are travelers from afar seeking refuge in the city of Citadel. May we pass?" He asked, hoping to avoid battle.

 

[CheshireCat]

The wyrms caught scent of the party before Tenkana had said their warning, and more importantly, smelled the roc approaching. They consequently went entirely balistic, tossing their heads, trying to pry their reigns out of their riders' hands; each sinewy muscle tensed and their rippling black bodies writhed. However, the gaurds were not thrown. In all their years of military aerial combat training, they had been duly prepared for such an occasion, no matter how unlikely. Instantly they turned the wyrms to the left with forceful knees (anyone who has ridden a horse before at fast speeds who has been trained to be lead by body movement moreso than by reigns knows what i'm talking about) and then began twirling their long lances on their right, the blades falling just a hair's length from the wyrms' right eye. The blade caught the sunlight and reflected it into those charcoal slits, and the wyrms were pacified.

"I don't know what's coming but whatever it is it can't be good."

"Greetings, men..." stated a voice.

"Turn back now if you wish to live!" replied one of the gaurdsmen.

Just then the outline of a most peculiarly large beak and wings apeared on the misty morning horizon.

"Oh dear..."

 

[Soldier_For_Christ]

"We merely seek shelter in Citadel. We are pursued by a great werewolf and believe that we can find shelter in Citadel. Please let us pass." Tenkana said, desperate for compromise.

 

[shernren]

"We mean no ill intent! Honestly!"

 

[Paladin Dave]

"Please dont make them fight you while I'm in his talons!" Vili cried desperately to the guards. "Do you like stew? I know how to make great stew! Please let us in, I make lots of stew for you!" he said as he tried valiantly to bribe the guards.

Zalika had to turn away so Vili wouldn't see her laughing at his pathetic bribing skills.
