Amy you are sounding smarter with each passing day :p

Some are new but yeah Phish has hundreds of songs. I don't know all of them!!!
Thats part of what makes them so great, every now and then I will find some song I've never heard (a good deal of their songs are unreleased) and I love it!!

Connection is pretty cool, I like it alot, especially the tempo. They lyrics are really good. The stuff they do in the background, varying the rhythm is really cool. Its their "single" of this album, seems like its made for the radio. But I bet they will jam out on it in concert. Its got a simple chord structure and fast tempo which are perfect for some rockin jams!!

haha. :) Jay-z and Phish..... interesting to say the least! I would love to hear "big pimping" somehow it would just seem wierd for Trey to be saying.. "We doin big pimpin, we spendin the G's"
I could see "the connection" being played on the radio.

Thankfully Phish left all those vocals to Jay-Z :)

One time they did Rappers Delite, that was hilarious...they went around and took turns. Fishman, the drummer, forgot his lines and so he started making stuff up that was so funny!

Hey all, I know I havent delivered on my promise to post my review of Phish's new album (you can stop holding your breath I dont want to get sued) but I arranged a deal for the boys to play a free song for you tonight!!!

Check out the David Letterman show, they're playing on top of the marquee and towards the end of the show, if the cameras can see through the smoky haze above the crowd, you can see them play a song!!!!

I know what the song is but I wont tell any of you, you will have to watch for yourself :).

Woooo that was awesome! They just played Scents and Subtle Sounds. Great song!! Mike was absolutely loving it, I usually dont see him that emotional. There were thousands of people rocking on Broadway! That was a nice little treat :).

When he is in the zone he does. If you look closely he sort of sings all his notes (when hes not singing lyrics of course). Great lead guitarists often do this. So this explains some of the weird facial contortions. Then when he is in the zone you can totally tell, usually in a really good jam :). I was watching the Bittwesweet Motel Phish DVD today and there is one part where he is totally taken over by the music, with the "where am I who am I" look...maybe even a "what am I" :). I love Trey~!!

haha. His looks are priceless. The Seis de mayo cover is fun also. Dave Matthews also has a funny face when he is singing. I remember hearing a story once,I think Dave talks about it on one of the vh1 specials, where he watches a video of himself and was like "man, do I really look that goofy when I sing?" I love his random dancing too.

We get Letterman on one of our TV networks at like 1am in the morning...I'd have no idea whether it's up to date and the episode you talk of is screened. If they're on either Conan or Leno in the next couple of weeks, an alert must be posted, otherwise...;)
