Though God has foreknowledge of all things His actions needed to correctly reflect that through demonstrating His wisdom: otherwise He could be blamed for not taking the proper measures to ensure that everything was set in place for our good. The story of Adam and Eve is a perfect example of God giving man the choice between life and death: this is represented by the two literal trees in the middle of the garden:

1) The Tree of Life.
2) The Tree of Death.

God warned Adam and Eve to stay away from death for they would die but, since they did not: that is why we still die today and, why Jesus had to die on the cross and be resurrected in order that we might have the chance to eat from the Tree of Life.

The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was the tree of which God said "Thou shalt not eat..." and after Adam ate the feast prepared by his helper(Eve, removed from the opening in Adam's side after slumber came upon him) their eye sight was changed. They suddenly realized they were naked and ashamed. God asks "Where art thou? Who has told you that you were naked?" and "Hast thou eaten...?

These words from Jesus pertain to what happened to Adam's eyes after eating. His perception changed. Adam once was alone and walked in the Day/Light with God, not seeing darkness/evil.
Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Jesus Christ is The Way/The Door back. To find the Son is to lose your soul/self-life to find it again In Christ. Only God can reveal His Truth by spirit...the power of the same spirit that rose Jesus' body from he grave...IF we believe. Faith exercised by truly seeking The Way to overcome the darkness/sin.

The human mind can never gain understanding of the things of God...who had a purpose/plan since before the foundations of the world were laid..."Behold the lamb who was slain before the foundations of the world."

Jesus Christ appeared to take away sins, and in Him there is no sin..

John 9:41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

I've read partos of the Bible and I've never found anything that answers all the big questions I've had. I've read the wisdom of Jesus, and I've read of the terrible things done in the Old Testament, and I;ve read Revelation as well. I've never gotten any divine insight from God that answered all my questions. The "answers" I've found to my questions have been non-answers as best—"every word of the Bible is true", "Who are you to question God?" "God works in mysterious ways", "God knows what's best", "Don't lean on your own understanding", "don't seek knowledge," "Ask God yourself", etc. etc etc.
Over the past few days I have asked for your help with many statements made in the Bible and I now would like to explain why.
Sadly,Christianity in the U.K.and much of Europe is dying and if the present trend continues it will be dead within the next 30 years.
I want to try and prevent this happening and so I looked for reasons why it is dying.
There are several reasons but I want to concentrate on the Bible itself.
In its present form it is doing great harm to the Christian cause.Unless the Bible is rewritten soon Christianity will die in this part of the world. All of the new Bible should glorify God.
I am asking you to join me in this cause.Thank you.

I would like to ask another question before I explain what my motivations are.
I f the one true God had said the wages of sin is death ,it would have been an absurd statement because God in his infinite wisdom would have known that having given us free will, that we would all be sinners, and that he would have to kill all of us bodily or spiritually (or both.)

God is almighty and if He says, your sins are forgiven, that is an end of the matter.
God never sins and therefore could not have been involved in the killing of our Lord Jesus.
I do believe that the murder of Jesus was the worst crime ever committed but it has nothing to do with the forgiveness of sin.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

Colossians 1:16

To gain any understanding, we must have faith/BELIEVE that HE is God. He rules the heavens and the earth to bring about HIS plan and purpose, AND that "all things work together for good for those who love God. (Romans 8:28) HIS ways are higher than ours and the human mind can never comprehend nor gain understanding. Only God by HIS spirit can reveal these things too hard for the natural mind to grasp. Anything short of this is unbelief and God can only give us what we can 'see'...

God is sovereign...whether we can see it or not.

Jesus Christ could 'SEE' the amazing plan/purpose of God The Father...and willingly gave up His life by choice because He KNEW The Father, intimately. The Father wants to reveal the Son to us...and we can see/be the son we don't know we are through The Son/In Christ.

Pray for the Father to help your unbelief...or it is not possible to 'see'. For with man it is impossible, but with God ALL things are possible. HE can bring reconciliation of ALL things...narrowing it down to ONE...In Christ...IF we BELIEVE.

God's purpose and plan contained within scripture is coming to pass...whether we can 'see' it or not. Prophecies are coming to pass before our very eyes. Why? John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

His Light shines out of the darkness...IF we have 'eyes' to 'see' it ... by HIS spirit. Which requires genuine faith...that HE is ALL He said HE is. Even if we cannot see it...that is Truth.

John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

You are seeing only darkness in the world, but if we seek HIM, the LIGHT will be revealed...by faith. All things (that are taking place in this world) work together for good for those who love God. He has a plan that was put in place before the foundations of the world were laid. "Behold the lamb of God slain before the foundation of the world."

Our human mind has a way of creating an image of what we THINK is Truth. By HIS spirit, HE reveals the Truth. The carnal mind is enmity to God. Rewriting the Bible would not be Truth, but an image of the mind of man. Scripture as it is was given by inspiration from God's holy spirit.

The Father sent Jesus Christ to be our peace maker. HE promises to send us a new 'helper', the Holy Spirit...which will lead us into all TRUTH. Anything less is the effort of 'self' and will never bring true peace...which can narrowed down to becoming ONE (singly and collectively) In Christ.

Self-seeking (without faith that HE is God) leads us away from Christ. The Old Testament is a picture of our journey/process of soul within...blessing or curses from God. When we believe in HIM, HE gives us grace/power to overcome and grow in HIS light, overcoming the darkness. Pray for eyes to see in the darkness...

All of the existing Bible glorifies God. It is man's lack of faith in that Truth that brings death. God's Word will not return void...man's will. God's Word truly brings life and light if we BELIEVE it...only then can His spirit bring the revelation of the TRUTH contained within the pages of scripture. A heart's desire to SEEK Him in spirit and in Truth is required to get anywhere with God...that is the measure of faith each has been given being activated and gives us an unction...a hunger and a thirst for ALL that HE is and the promises HE has given within scripture for those who truly seek HIM. For it is only by the spirit revelation of Truth comes...not our mind.

God's plan is coming to pass as contained in scripture. Rewriting it won't change HIS Truth. Seeking Him in spirit and in Truth will change your whole world...as HE says "come out of her."

With all due respect, it becomes increasingly hard to believe when more people are able to not only have the Bible but look into the history of it, and see how it both developed over time (with even the view of God changing from being one God among many to being sovereign and in charge of good and evil to him being all good) and how many actions proposed by God in the Bible are the exact opposite of "loving". Put it all together, add that things like the Crusades happened, the Church used to not let people have Bibles and could only "know" what the Church told them, is it any wonder Christianity is dying off?

The intellect that God gave me.

You're on dangerous ground Kenneth, if this intellect that God gave you can cause you to overlook or avoid facing that YOU have also behaved in an ungodly manner at times (exactly what you accused David of doing), then what you have is haughty pride, not intellect, and that's not from God.
Oh, and for the record, you fell right into the trap of justifying yourself for judging others. We are to correct or rebuke out of love, with a heart to help someone. NOT to judge with 'intellect'.

God is not dead! Christ lives! He has no beginning and no end. What is dying is man's desire to know their God. There is a huge difference. Changing the Bible will not change the desire's of a man's heart...

What brings a man to Christ-ianity? John 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

And John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The Greek word translated “draw” is helkuo, which means “to drag” (literally or figuratively).

So, changing/rewriting the Bible will never change a thing in regards to God's purpose and plan. HE has a way of humbling folks...it is part of His plan.

Does a parent not correct their child? In the Old Testament, what happened to Israel/as a son is a picture of the process that takes place within us.

God has a way of humbling and uses all things created by and for Him for His purpose...that we come to KNOW Him...that HE is God of ALL things whether we believe/see it or not. God has never changed. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. What changes is the image man holds in his own mind of who God is because they refuse to seek Him from within...HE is not of this world/Babylon...HE won't be found in a pew and the word's that a man can speak. HE is revealed by His spirit that lives inside of us...if we listen to the call...Only HE can make Himself known if we believe/have faith that HE IS...He won't be found in the four walls of any building in the world for HE dwells in a temple not made with (human) hands.

So, when He can't be found...could be not looking in the right place...for the Kingdom of God is within us.

Who are "they"? The Jewish authorities (puppets of Rome at that time)? Or are you one of those people that blame ALL Jews?

"They" were probably collaborationist Sadducees and their hand-picked mob. How else do you explain the fact that Jesus' was welcomed by the crowds with 'Hoshanna' only five days earlier. There is no way the masses would have turned on him that quickly.

@Yeshua HaDerekh Right...smh...I clearly used scripture to prove that not only was Adam a type of Christ but, that both had no earthly father or mother. For a bonus trivia question is like to ask you who were the earthly parents of Eve?

Nice connections though between the eye and the sight of Adam and Eve changing.

The Passover.Exodus Ch.12 As I see this God is being accused of murdering innocent Egyptian children.
I do not believe that God did this. Can we discuss?

It's a picture of something to us, in us, that is relative to Israel both as a son, and a wife, which has to be looked at in the light of everywhere in scripture (but not limited to this) where it depicts this same truth.

You have the Egyptian first born, and the death of a lamb which is the death of all of Israel's firstborn (for ye are dead) ... the firstborn did not make it out of Egypt alive, or as a living soul, though the process of this is fulfilled when they come out of a wilderness a 2nd time.

In alot of ways, your question's answer in scripture is never ending, yet this unending truth is summed up in one as this, which by default is who we are.

I never disagreed that Yeshua was the "second Adam". Also, Eve has nothing to do with who Yeshua's parents were. BTW, you have NOT used any Scriptures to show Yeshua had no mother...because you cant, because there are none. (see Matthew and Luke)

To dishonor YHWH by dis-believing His Word due to emotional or rational (man's way of thinking instead of God's)
ways of thinking in error
is a sin as well.
To call something God Spoke as blasphemous is perhaps a fatal sin.

This reminds me of how Jesus used the scriputres to defeat those who were going to stone him for what he said.

Rational in some ways is the logic of the centurion.

I understand why you called it the tree of death...but the knowledge of Good and Evil part is a Truth in relation to how we 'see'...and where we perceive from/where we are at in the process taking place within."Where art thou?"
This narrows down to the Truth He loved us while we were yet sinners, judging and to Love, which God is.

Right, so Paul was wrong in sayin that Jesus was made after the order of Meclhisedec who has no beginning nor end of days like the son of God?
