A recent telephone call froma very good and trusted friend of mine has recently informed me of something called the The Gergarian pear which is apparently one the rarest fruits on this planet and it stems from a place called Ger-Ger in Armania.
Does this mean anything to you?
Ger-Ger.
A place actually known as Hayk in the bible.
Could this be the fruit of sin? Could Armenia be Eden?
I'm genuinely not saying it is. But I'd like to rule out all the same, I'm also thinking it might be a good idea to to do a little digging into the Armanian ecosystems of yesteryear.
So think about it for a moment.
As we all know, Armenia was/is the world's first Christian nation. Evangelized by not one but TWO of the Apostles. You can thank Bartholomew and Thaddeus for that!
Does it not then, stand to right that the original sinful fruit may come from such a place originally?
Later cast out by the Apostles, into surrounding sub-biomes and slowly becoming extinct?
Maybe that's why it's so rare these days and nobody has ever heard of it?
