Eggs are not healthy either. All animal products are unhealthy. If it came from an animal's body or is a part of an animal's body, it's not healthy to eat.

Lol I guess I just love things that are unhealthy then, guilty as charged. I love bacon, c’mere pig I want some bacon & pork chops mmmmm mmmmm my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I’ll kill a Bambi in a heartbeat, love me some deer jerky and sausage. Cute cuddly rabbits are delicious on a barbecue pit with some spicy barbecue sauce on ‘em, love it!! Here’s some other things that are unhealthy, driving any motor vehicle, electricity, bicycles, skateboards, dirt bikes, swimming, boating, surfing, skiing, contact sports, cell phones, TVs, candy, sodas, cooking, cleaning products, dogs, cats, birds, rodents, bugs, ponies, air, fire, the sun, I mean the list just goes on & on so if your that worried about it you probably need to crawl into a concrete box, oh wait no you might get silica poisoning, make that a plastic box, oh wait no that’s bad for the ozone, a steel box might be acceptable if your not in a hot or cold area because you should definitely avoid air conditioning and heating at all costs. Come to think of it there probably isn’t a single safe place for you on this entire planet or any other one for that matter.

I believe every word written in the Bible. I was shown that I misread it so naturally after reading it correctly I saw my error and acknowledged it. Would you rather that I had just ignored it and pretended it never happened?

No, I'd rather that you actually thought about things and looked for evidence rather than just blindly believing anything and everything in the bible.

You initially wrote:
Yes I do believe that method did cure people in the past. I don’t know if it still works today.

Hard for me to believe that anyone would ever believe the bird blood method in leviticus 14:2-52. Which you stated that you did believe - at least at one time in history.

Or that blindness could be cured by spitting on the ground, smooshing it into mud, and rubbing it into someones' eyes would cure anything other than the ability to see. John: 9-6?

That is my issue.

I agree with you that rabbits are delicious and, obviously, bacon. Etc. But blindly believing the stories in the bible, that's a hard no.

I also like shell fish. Bible says that's not cool. How would you go about deciding whether or not to eat things that the bible prohibits? Leviticus 11:7-8 says:
And the pig, because it parts the hoof and is cloven-footed but does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. You shall not eat any of their flesh, and you shall not touch their carcasses; they are unclean to you.

If the bible says it, and you believe it, then what?

The Bible is full of miracles that are not supposed to be explainable by scientific methods that’s why I believed it. As for the dietary laws they were specifically for the Israelites not Gentiles and per Romans 14 they are no longer in effect.

Cool, that's convenient. So now you can eat whatever you like since dietary laws are no longer in effect. No forbidden fruit, bacon and cloven hoofed animals, shell fish are all fine. That's a relief.

So, the dietary rules no longer apply - I can only assume that the 10 commandments also no longer apply. I mean, both (or was it 3?) versions were in the old testament so that obviously no longer applies as well. The new testament would supersede the old, no doubt. Testament 2.0 if you will.

I find it interesting that the more prevalent that recording devices such as cameras become - the fewer "miracles" there are. Its really interesting that none of the "miracles" involve say the regrowing of limbs of amputees. The "miracles" today are more along the lines of seeing Mary on toast or in the profile of a potato. My personal favorite is the dog's butt Jesus images. Very much worth an internet search.

A lot has changed from the Old Testament ways. People were required to offer sacrifices for their sin and that is no longer necessary. People were required to be circumcised that is also no longer necessary. People were required to observe the Passover that is no longer necessary. And man hasn’t had access to the forbidden fruit since Adam & Eve were tossed out of Eden, there was only one tree of knowledge and it only existed in the center of Eden which man is forbidden to enter.

The humble apple.

Why, you might ask?
Why the biblical apple of Eden?
Science dictates an average apple contains fiber and antioxidants, and may help with such physical ailments such as heart disease, cancer and diabetes.
But does it though?

They say an apple a day keeps the Doctor away. This may be true. But does it keep 'you know who' away? SATAN?
The answer is no.

The 'humble' apple was the fruit that Adam stole to impress Eve. Point being, it was the first fruit, the cursed fruit.
A poem always stuck with me.
'Red, green or anywhere between, trust not of this fruit. Baked in a pie or picked from a tree, the lie grows larger if you share the apple with me. The pie is a lie and so is the apple, but a bite of this fruit and you'll be crying in the chapel.'
It's a poem as old as time, but one that continues to provide wisdom.
Some men lay orchards and groves. Some wives use them for pies.
Those people are weak.

Some may consider my apple-aversion as a bit extreme, but I think it's healthy to avoid such temptations. There's plenty of other fruit we can be growing or eating and at the end of the day it's a deliberate aversion rather than an allergy.

In this day and age it becomes tougher by the day to avoid the consumption of apples, especially with the likes of commercial temples like so called 'supermarkets' and 'mega-malls' selling applies in bulk, or juice companies pulping such juice into cartons and selling them off to ignorant consumers. Apples can be found in fruit salads or mixed in with other refreshing fruit juices microscopically. Apples can be found in flavored 'smoking' vapes and crumbles and strudels and football and television. It might be legal, but it's frustrating.

Check the label. I guess that's what I'm getting at. Or ask whoever it is that's serving you and don't take no for an answer..
'Does this contain apple? If so, get rid of it, I don't want to look at it'.
That's all you need to say.

Now back to the bible.

The apple stole paradise from man. Or more precisely, it was the greed of man that wanted more than paradise (perhaps on the whims of his woman [Eve]) and his bite of the apple took paradise away, or the snake deceived him - knowing that the tempation of man with paradise up his sleeve lacked the one fruit, dangling the forbidden fruit above man, like a carrot above a donkey. Only to be banished.
It's a convuloted story with blame being placed all over the place, but the ultimate lesson is:
Apples are a no go.
Sorry, but no.

These are the first lessons.
And lessons I am sure to never repeat.
Is this a joke? Good grief. Next, you will be supporting the stoning of women who didn't scream loud enough while being raped.

Dude - the old testament is full of stupidity quite frankly. Do you really believe that languages evolved because someone tried to build something that was too tall?

Do you really think a couple having sex out of wedlock should be put to death? Seriously - society has moved on from that nonsense.

Wow. Great reply. Either a joke or someone needing immediate help for a mental illness. "Check the label to see if it contains apples - if so get rid of it." Monowhite is really going to have a difficult time living with others. Happily people with these fringe beliefs are in the minority and declining.
