Besides A Man And A Woman, I think they're great titles. Vertigo is to radio on 24 September but will likely leak sooner. Album is out on 22 November (or 23 if you live in North America; apparently the 17th in Norway and Japan).

I can't wait. What aggravates me though is that they don't release singles in the US. As this is the first time I'll be anticipating one of U2's new albums I don't know how long I will have to wait 'till the stores get the single imports.

Sadly, yes, I did. As did many others. Interference forums was in an uproar about it.

Oh I was out for blood on Interference!! I've been emailing Mr. Henry Rollins back and forth all week, so that's been interesting.

Hehe, other have been as well. If there one good thing I can say about Rollins its at least he doesn't try to hide himself from malcontent U2 fans.

The whole Indie 103.1 fiasco is totally maddenning. I'm completely over it ... mainly because Henry Rollins was brutally murdered in my mind just before Indie 103.1 was hit by a partially dismantled atomic bomb and wiped from the face of the planet. Made me feel better, anyway.

Just think though....now we've got Dalkey Beach to deal with and in the next 14 days I am sure it is going to become complete and total chaos!! But then Vertigo...

Lol, that's really funny you guessed my "identity"! Smart girl. Yeah, I had a Pop Bono up earlier but decided that not everyone on here would "get it".

Yeah, Dalkey is driving me daffy. I have no idea what to think, trying to stay it but not get too involved if you know what I mean. In any case we'll know soon enough if the stuff he/she said was bogus....but if it turns out to be true I want to know who it really is/was!

That Dalkey Beach person is intriguing, to say the least ... I guess we will know for sure whether they're real or fake soon enough! The prospect of an instrumental intrigues me ... I loved those that came out of the UF era!

So what does everyone think about How To Dismantle and Atomic Bomb? I know it hasn't been confirmed by the band yet, but I hope its the title. I love it. Its very thought-provoking.

Just on it's own...I don't like it. But if that is in fact the name, then obviously the reasoning for it would be behind the album, so I'd have to listen to it to get it-ya know? I want to hear it like, yesterday!!!

Well, I will admit it is a rather odd name , like The Joshua Tree. But it will make more sense once you give it a few listens.

The Joshua Tree I can understand, I can see the Biblical reference.... what dismantling an atomic bomb is about I have no clue?? Unless, since they are supposedly going back to thier "roots" this could be a refueling of their political expressions on denouncing violence and war?!

I'm betting that we will all be surprised and the album will have a completely different name than what we're expecting. Something like, Moonshine and Pink Bunnies---now THAT'S a thought-provoking title.

I know Bono keeps his "jobs" seperated but I would really like him to have a song about Africa...that would be an amazing song to hear through his voice.
