No, I see a bunch of religious sites that don't agree with each other as well. You know what? Considering that at the time it was written most people couldn't read, some pictures might not have been a ridiculous addition to the bible.

The bible might describe it more than scientists, but most of what is "known" about hell is the equivalent of fan fiction, where people both associated and not associated with religion both contributed to the modern concept of hell. There was a time in which the popular concept of hell was actually cold; demons were blues, pale sickly white, and dark purple colors.

You have it backwards. DNA is the mechanism that allows evolution.

It allows most of the traits of the parents with very small variations to be passed on. It was almost as if it were tailor made to fit the theory.

That twist is not an issue, it actually makes DNA more stable. The fact that it doesn't connect to itself at the end or retain a telomerase repair mechanism that works is a more accurate description of why DNA shortens with every replication and eventually becomes nonfunctional.

But this is more fitting of why we die, and wouldn't prevent evolution.

If you're stating that it's the double helix which creates the 'barrier', please explain how it so functions.....? How would a "straight" formation permit "macro" evolution, but a spiral shape prevent it...?

The majority of creatures don't fossilize. If none of those people were buried in areas conducive to the formation of fossils, none of them would have fossilized. Also, if they practiced cremation, fossils would be even less likely.

Also, you are asking science to prove a biblical event. Unless that event really did happen, there shouldn't be any evidence to find, and you are asking for support of your position. The fact that nothing was found so far hurts your position, not the position of evolution.

Here's what I said ... pay attention please ... I'll even highlight two key words in the spirit of the movie file in my profile.

My theory is that, since God changed Lucifer's name to Satan, Satan has people call God YAHWEH.

They say -- (and I'm not sure I believe it) -- but they say that one of the marks of demon possession is that you can't get a person to talk about the Blood of Christ.

Along that line, I believe that one of the marks of demon oppression is that you can't get a person to say Satan's angelic name, unless they really try hard.

Do you know the difference?

I was careful not to accuse them of being possessed, and selected my words carefully.

I wasn't aware asking scientists to find some bones in the desert constituted 'proving a biblical event.'

I'm glad I didn't ask them to find that million-dollar piece of junk they sent to Mars to sniff around in Martian backyards for signs of life -- that ended up breaking down.
